SELF-LOVE

We have many things to work on; many tasks to finish. In our life, we do all
the best we can to show our love to our family, friends or other people without
realizing that we are making ourselves unhealthy. We do not care for ourselves
anymore.
We must love ourselves because we are the only ones on Earth to love
ourselves greater than anybody. Self-love is not selfishness but it is how you
appreciate and care the life God has given you. In giving bread, we must leave at
least a quarter for our self. It means that in giving or sharing your blessings, you do
not have to give everything to your fellows. You must also use the gifts God has
given you. Another example of showing self-love is relaxing or giving time for your
body to take a rest at least once a year. One day-off cant harm your money in the
vault. You have to rest and refresh your mind from all the stress you have.
In life, loving ourselves may not be well interpreted by other people. It is up
to us if will listen to them or will show care for our self.

GENDER EQUALITY
Mother Theresa. Corazon Aquino. Queen Elizabeth. These names truly explain
how women changed the perception of the world about gender equality. Because of
these, I do believe that women deserve to be recognized.
In ancient times, the rights of women were not recognized. The world just
knew that they are the ones to clean the house and cook the meal. Nothing is good
about women. They are weak and irrational. Today, women can do what men do. We
are equal. Different women showed that women are also intelligent in many fields
like politics, religion and arts. We can make decisions; work for the family; paint a
portrait; write a poem; and vote the worthy. In short, women can make difference
and make their own history.
The world today is giving an equal respect between men and women. We
have to care this culture in order to maintain the tradition of equality throughout the
world.

FREEDOM
Every freedom has an equal obligation. Freedom is not just all about doing all
the things you want, it is about choosing the right thing for you.
According to the Holy Bible, And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall
make you free. This verse from the Book of John simply tells that real freedom can
be found in the truth and the right. We should not take freedom as an advantage of
being happy while other people suffer from the pain your freedom brought. We have
to use freedom as the key of engaging everybody to morality. In order to have
freedom, we should respect every creature here on Earth. We should love all the
things God has created. We should know the truth.

Freedom is a gift from heaven. We should not abuse it. We should use it in
Gods will.
FINE CULTURE AND HOSPITALITY
Filipinos are known for their hospitality. What does it mean?
Hospitality simply means that we welcome our visitors joyfully. There are
instances that hospitality is shown like when visitors arrive while we are eating. We
do not hesitate to offer them our food even though it is dried fish or scrambled egg.
Usually, we do not ignore our fellows. We give our sweet smile whenever we
encounter our friends or even acquaintances. Another thing of having a fine culture
is respecting women. For example, in Light Rail Transit (LRT) men give their seats to
women. Also, the lad is the one to court the lass. They give flowers and chocolates
to the girls. Lastly, Filipinos have strong faith in God. The expression, Diyos ko po!,
merely tells how Filipinos show their devotion.
Our culture is one of the greatest treasures of our land. We should care and
protect it.
