FROM

 :
 MARK
P.
JOSEPH

 President

SUBJECT

 :
 G‐League
Expansion
for
2010

Greetings!

Before
anything
else,
please
be
informed
of
the
following
confirmed
G‐League
meets
and
hosts
for
the
PASA

Long
Course
Season
2010.

As
you
know,
these
meets
will
be
qualifying
events
for
the
Sr.
National
Swimming

Championships
to
be
held
on
22‐25
July
2010.

These
meets
are:

Weekend
of
Mar
27
–
G‐League
LC
Meet
1
hosted
by
Ayala
Harpoons

Weekend
of
Apr
03
–
G‐League
LC
Meet
2
hosted
by
Makati
Skipjacks

Weekend
of
May
15
–

Meet
3
hosted
by
Electric
Rays

Weekend
of

–
G‐League
LC
Meet

hosted
by
Celebrity

Whether
the
competitions
will
be
1
or
2‐day
meets
depends
on
the
hosts
respective
meet
directors,
who
shall

decide
based
on
the
number
of
entries,
and
the
timeline
for
the
event.

Again,
we
will
strive
for
quality
swim

meets,
and
considering
swimmers
10
and
under
are
eligible
to
participate
in
these
meets
–
we
must
continue

to
keep
the
goal
of
hosting
Quality
Swim
Meets
foremost
in
our
minds.

As
 we
 did
 last
 year,
 swimmers
 achieving
 the
 Qualifying
 Time
 Standards
 for
 Sr.
 Nationals
 will
 be
 qualified
 to

participate.

One
important
change,
however,
is
that
only
swimmers
11
years
old
and
above
as
of
31
December

2010
will
be
allowed
to
enter
the
Sr.
Nationals
in
July.

As
 regards
 the
 G‐League
 Short
 Course
 Season,
 and
 in
 accordance
 with
 PASA
 statutes,
 NRC
 has
 been
 divided

into
two
zones.

The
manner
by
which
clubs/teams
have
been
assigned
to
zones
is
based
on
the
principle
of

seeing
a
proper
distribution
of
clubs
(based
on
their
number
of
swimmers)
to
each
zone.

As
such,
PASA‐NCR

Zones
1
and
2
will
be
comprised
of
the
following
clubs/teams:
