Walk-in Interview for Senior Residents/ Junior Residents/

I.

UPPER AGE LIMIT (AS ON date of interview) - 33 years,

Relaxable for SC/ST candidate upto a maximum period of five years, in the case of OBC candidates
upto a maximum period of three years. (ii) In the case of Orthopaedic / Physical Handicapped
(OPH) candidates upto maximum period of 5 years for General Category, 8 years for OBC category
and 10 years for SC/ST category candidates. (iii) 5 years for those who are already appointed as
Senior Residents / Tutor / and possessing DM/M.Ch qualification. The age limit is relaxable by 5
years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.

II.

APPLICATION FEE:
UR/Gen & OBC : Rs.1000/SC & ST
: Rs. 800/(Physically handicapped (eligible as per eligibility criteria under Govt, of India rules) candidates are
exempted from paying application fees).

III.

The fee shall be received in the form of Demand Draft/Drawn in favour of Director.
AIIMS Patna payable at Patna. (Application Fee will be received on the day of Interview)
No other more of payment in cash or postal order of Cheque will not be entertained.

IV.

The candidates required to be present in person along with application form duly filled
with supporting documents and original certificates (DOB, MBBS Degree, Registration
certificate from MCI/State Medical Council/Marks Sheet(s) / Detailed Mark Card(s) of
MBBS, PG degree/Pass certificate, MD/MS/DNB/Ph.D., valid SC/ST/OBC certify cate(if
applicable) , NOC from the present employer (Applicable for those working in Govt.
organization)OBC Certificate should be valid for Government of India employment.

V.

Senior Resident(s) : A postgraduate degree viz. MD /MS in concerned subject from a

recognized University/Institute.
For the post of Senior Resident(s) in Transfusion Medicine, MD in Pathology also will
be considered
Junior Resident (s) : M.B.B.S Degree from a recognized University/Institute.

VI. AIIMS Patna reserves the right to make amendments to the number of posts advertised
based on the functional requirements of the institute and to fill or not to fill up the
posts partially or completely without assigning any reason.
