Course: INFO1-CE9339001 Oracle Database 11g:

Administration II
Semester: Spring 2013

Instructor: Marc S. Paller

Course Overview

Class Dates:

From April 1st to May 1st, 2013

Course Basic Prerequisites:

Student should have already successfully completed Oracle
Database 11g: Introduction to SQL, Oracle Database 11g:
Administration I before taking this course.
Course Objective:
For students to acquire sufficient knowledge and experience
from this course that will assist the students in the preparation for
taking the Oracle11G Database Administration Exam (1Z0-053) as
part of the requirements to achieve the Oracle 11G DBA OCP
certification offered by Oracle.
Course Components:
The course consists of the Oracle DBA material Oracle
specifically requires in addition to other relevant material. Each
class has been carefully crafted with the use of both lecture and
lab. The labs, which are interspersed with the lectures, allow the
students to actually get some hands-on experience using Oracle
and doing any homework assignments, tests and their projects.
Grades:
Students will be given 2 tests. These tests will be very
similar to the types and style of test questions Oracle uses. Each
test will count for 50 percent, for a total of 100 percent, of the
students overall grade and each test will receive a numeric grade
ranging from 100 to 0. Each test score will then be multiplied by
0.50 and then added together to come up with the students overall
test score.
