NOTIFICATION
Consequent on bifurcation of State of Andhra Pradesh in New State of Andhra
Pradesh & State of Telangana under The AP Reorganisation Act 2014, the
Government of Andhra Pradesh have declared river front Amaravati city
(Peoples capital) as its new capital on a green field site of 217.23 Sq. Kms. on
the banks of River Krishna located centrally with in the capital region of 7420 Sq.
Kms. spread across Guntur and Krishna districts.
About 22000 land owners of capital city area with generosity extended their
cooperation for building of Amaravati city by voluntarily giving consents under
Land Pooling Scheme, in just 40 days, for about 33,000 acres of their
agricultural land.
The Government is committed to build the capital, Amaravati city, meeting
international standards. The master plan preparation of Amaravati city was
taken up by the Government of Singapore and it is in the final stages. Land
breaking ceremony for building of Amaravati city was performed on 6th June
2015 by Honble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and the Government have
declared the works of building of Amaravati city will commence from Dussehara.
The Government have set goals to complete the infrastructure development in
Amaravati city and seed capital construction within 3 years from Oct 2015.
Building of new capital is not mere building of infrastructure but more
importantly involves economic & social development of the region more
particularly of the capital city.

-: 2 :Current population of the Amaravati city area is about 1.03 Lakhs and it is
contemplated that the population of the city would grow leaps and bounds in the
next few years. The Government is planning in big way for economic & social
development and creation of job opportunities in Amaravati city and in the
capital region.
In this context, AP CRDA invites the valued association of various organizations
in building the world class capital city Amaravati by contributing to overall
economic & social development and also in creation of job opportunities in the
capital city and capital region. The organizations may associate themselves with
the noble responsibility of economic & social development of the region
AP CRDA is pleased to invite proposals for association with building of Amaravati
city in a big way in the fields of overall economic & social development and also
in creation of job opportunities in the capital city through corporate social
responsibility programs. It is expected that the engagement through the
corporate social responsibility shall result in quantifiable job creation.
