Neuerungen und nderungen
DIGSI 4 V4.90 Service Pack 1 enthlt folgende Verbesserungen:

IEC 61850 Stationen werden korrekt aktualisiert

(CHDOC00096621, CHDOC00096620, CHDOC00096052, CHDOC00096053)

Probleme beim ffnen von Strschrieben wurden behoben

(CHDOC00098749, CHDOC00098844)

Probleme beim Einstellen von RSTP wurden behoben

(CHDOC00101569)

XRIO untersttzt mehrere Parametergruppen

(CHDOC00096514)

Hinweise zu Benutzung/Einschrnkungen
DIGSI 4 V4.90 muss auf Ihrem Rechner installiert sein.
Wichtiger Hinweis fr DIGSI 4-Projekte mit IEC 61850 Konfiguration, die mit einer DIGSI 4-Version gleich
oder hher als DIGSI 4 V4.87 erstellt wurden.
Nach dem ffnen dieser Projekte mit DIGSI 4 V4.90 SP1 fhren sie bitte eine komplette IEC 61850 Stationsaktualisierung durch. Das anschlieende Laden der Parameterstze in die Gerte ist nicht notwendig.
Wichtiger Hinweis fr DIGSI 4-Projekte mit IEC 61850 Konfiguration, die mit einer DIGSI 4-Version lter als
DIGSI 4 V4.87 erstellt wurden.
Vor dem ffnen dieser Projekte mit DIGSI 4 V4.90 SP1, sind diese zunchst mit DIGSI 4 V4.88 zu ffnen
und es ist eine komplette IEC 61850 Stationsaktualisierung durchzufhren.
Das anschlieende Laden der Parameterstze in die Gerte ist nicht notwendig.
Nach dem Aktualisieren der Projekte mit DIGSI 4 V4.88 sind diese mit DIGSI 4 V4.90 SP1 zu ffnen und es
ist eine weitere IEC 61850 Stationsaktualisierung durchzufhren.
Das anschlieende Laden der Parameterstze in die Gerte ist auch in diesem Fall nicht notwendig.
Wichtiger Hinweis fr das online ffnen und Schlieen von Gerten mit IEC 61850-Kommunikation, die mit
einer DIGSI 4-Version lter als V4.90 erstellt wurden
Nach dem ffnen und Schlieen eines Gertes mit IEC 61850-Kommunikation im Online-Betrieb werden
Sie zum Speichern des Parametersatzes im Gert aufgefordert.
Die Abfrage erfolgt auch bei nicht genderten Parametern im Gert.
Mit DIGSI 4 V4.90 SP1 wurde ein Editionsparameter fr die IEC61850-Module in den Gerten eingefhrt,
was ein Speichern des Parametersatzes in den Gerten erfordert.
Nach dem Speichern ist eine anschlieende IEC 61850 Stationsaktualisierung fr diese Gerte nicht erforderlich.

Kompatibilitt
DIGSI 4 V4.90 Service Pack 1 kann nur zur Aktualisierung von DIGSI 4 V4.90 eingesetzt werden.

Installation
1. Beenden Sie DIGSI 4 V4.90 bevor Sie DIGSI 4 V4.90 Service Pack 1 installieren.
2. Entpacken Sie die Datei DIGSI_4_90_12_SP1.zip in ein lokales Verzeichnis auf Ihrem Rechner. Behalten Sie dabei die Unterverzeichnisse bei.
3. Um das Service Pack fr Ihre lokale DIGSI 4-Installation zu installieren, starten sie die Datei
setup.exe
(Fr die Installation unter Windows 7 oder Windows 2008 Server, bitte den Abschnitt Hinweise zur Installation beachten)
4. Folgen Sie den Anweisungen whrend der Installation des Service Packs.
5. Nach der Installation knnen die entpackten Dateien von ihrem PC entfernt werden.

Hinweise zur Installation

Wichtige Hinweise zur Installation unter Windows 7 und Windows 2008 Server
Bei der Installation des Service Pack unter Windows 7 oder Windows 2008 Server muss die Setup.exe mit
der Option Als Administrator ausfhren gestartet werden. Dazu Rechtsklick auf die Datei Setup.exe und
im Auswahlmen den Eintrag Als Administrator starten auswhlen

Deinstallation
Das Service Pack kann nicht separat deinstalliert werden.

Readme/Installation Instructions for DIGSI 4 V4.90 Service Pack 1

New Features and Modifications
DIGSI 4 V4.90 Service Pack 1 contains the following additional enhancements and corrections:

IEC 61850 stations are updated correctly

(CHDOC00096621, CHDOC00096620, CHDOC00096052, CHDOC00096053)

Problems with opening fault records have been resolved

(CHDOC00098749, CHDOC00098844)

Problems with RSTP settings have been corrected

(CHDOC00101569)

XRIO supports several parameter groups

(CHDOC00096514)

Notes on Usage / Restrictions

DIGSI 4 V4.90 must be installed on your computer.
Important notification for DIGSI 4 projects with IEC 61850 configuration that were configured with a DIGSI 4
version equal or newer than DIGSI 4 V4.87
After having opened such projects with DIGSI 4 V4.90 SP1 it is urgently recommended to perform an entire
IEC 61850 station update. The subsequent upload of device parameters into the devices is not required

version older than DIGSI 4 V4.87
Before opening such projects with DIGSI 4 V4.90 SP1 you must open these projects with DIGSI 4 V4.88 first
and perform an entire IEC 61850 station update.
The subsequent upload of device parameters into the devices is not required.
After having updated these projects with DIGSI 4 V4.88 you need to open them with DIGSI 4 V4.90 SP1
and perform another entire IEC 61850 station update.
The subsequent upload of device parameters into the devices is again not required.
Important notification for opening and closing of devices with IEC 6180 communication in online mode, that
were created with a DIGSI 4 version earlier than V4.90.
After opening and closing of devices with IEC 61850 communication in online mode you are requested to
save the device parameter set. This message comes up even you have not changed any device parameter.
With DIGSI 4 V4.90 SP1 a new edition parameter was introduced that leads to this request of saving the
device parameter set.
Having saved the device parameter set a subsequent IEC 61850 station update for this device is not required.

Compatibility
DIGSI 4 V4.90 Service Pack 1 can only be used to update DIGSI 4 V4.90.

Installation
1. Close DIGSI 4 V4.90 before you install DIGSI 4 V4.90 Service Pack 1.
2. Decompress the file DIGSI_4_90_12_SP1.zip in a local folder of your computer. Keep the directory
structure as it is in the ZIP archive.
3. To install the service pack for your local DIGSI 4 installation, execute the file setup.exe.
For installation under Windows 7 or Windows 2008 Server read the respective important note in section
Notes on Installation below.
4. Follow the instructions during installation of the service pack.
5. You may now remove the decompressed files of the service pack from your local PC.

Notes on Installation
Important notes for installation under Windows 7 and Windows 2008 Server For installation under
Windows 7 or Windows 2008 Server you must start the Setup.exe with the option Run as Administrator.

Uninstallation
The service pack cannot be uninstalled separately.
