The langurs were suddenly running The pine trees were roaring The air was acting No, with a mystery it was playacting The wind was blowing Snakes were suddenly hissing Mountains were quietly whispering With a mid-day sun shining The locals were loitering Suddenly we were ascending The we started descending I hope though the driver knew where we were heading Otherwise a whole lot of time we were wasting Atleast that was what it was looking Till the time we were arriving Full of doubts we were willing Suddenly there was a gut feeling That we would not be reaching In the journey we shall be procrastinating But, alas the journey was worth waiting The beauty unraveled was worth waiting It was as if the pines were suddenly changing The mountains were baring The owls were suddenly screeching It was as if we were reaching There was an air of anticipating
Happier I was getting
It was as if hospitable they were becoming The whole scenery was swapping To my co-passengers I was narrating A story I was telling In my mind the legacy of the place was playing Suddenly, the barriers were breaking In the head the blood was clotting Suddenly was again feeling Thresholds was it crossing The chest was thumping A very fast heart was beating Anxiety was touching Suddenly I was wondering Over the top I was feeling Closer to the goal was I touching Like a bird was suddenly flapping Over the top was I reacting Suddenly was I arousing From the deep slumber I was awaking It seemed at long last the hibernation was ending I was suddenly wondering Nectar of the gods should I be consuming Should not a pleasure be titillating? Alas, warmer was I feeling Or, wrong is it colder the feeling? Lower the clouds were hovering Enjoying the panoramic viewing
It was suddenly unnerving
Full of thorns the tracks were filling Finally was I stopping Off the car was I getting Across the stream Teestha was gushing Waves were tumbling Waterfall was breathtaking Through the dragon gates was I entering A lot of answers was I seeking A lot of stairs was I climbing The prayer wheel was I turning Anti-clockwise was i rotating Heavy was it in moving Blissful was it looking Through the massive gates was I observing The marvel in front was unraveling Finally was I entering Post the security check we were entering The two main buildings were demarcating Golden statue and stupa they were dividing The symbols were breathtaking The deer and chakhras symbols were amazing Into the main building we were entering With a glass the overhead roof was covering The walls with red paint were gleaming The whole story in the form of painting Down the heritage was I staring At the altar Buddha statue was resting
Water bowls they were offering
Butter lamps they were lighting Oil they were pouring Wick they were stretching The monks were sitting and quietly praying Rosary beads they were turning Background music was inspiring Lords name they were chanting With Dorjee in the right hand they were praying With a bell in the left hand they were chanting All of a sudden the insides were churning And I was suddenly prostrating Heart was suddenly weeping Bliss I was experiencing I felt all the Buddhas were blessing Suddenly was I weeping With a broom suddenly was I sweeping The next moment incense sticks were burning And silently was I sitting The flow of energy I was harnessing The place was healing The environment was inducing I felt as if I was being conditioning Then the place was closing On the stairs I was climbing On a special spot was I reaching On a boulder was I sitting The rains were ravaging
But, I was not affecting
The sandstone was not affecting I was suddenly laughing Far away the urban jungle it was seeming A pure world was suddenly speaking Hide and seek the sun was playing The future was not mattering I was in the present and enjoying Mouths were suddenly closing Eyes were suddenly transfixing Conversations were not happening Pure energy was amazing The monks were running and playing Elastic time was feeling Suddenly I was loosing myself In the moment was I leaving myself No longer was I talking Suddenly a thought was cropping Is it my own attitude that was changing? Has my soul been penetrating Have the mountains been healing The outsiders were frowning In the end I was introspecting In the vicinity a monk was working On the stone he was writing His attention was amazing With a hammer he was working The mindfulness was breathtaking
I feel he was inspiring
Suddenly my life felt like radically changing Then I ought to be departing Too much time was passing With a deep heart I was walking An unique object I was observing The benches there were rusting Guards were incessantly chatting Intermittently they were chewing Betel Leaf they were spitting The holy places walls there were dirtying Sadly I was disgruntling Their attitude was disillusioning Down the city was looking Like ants they were seeming On top of the world I was feeling I do not know how others were feeling
