Enhancing learning
Learning aids and teaching methods alone
will not ensure that learning takes place.
Here are some principles that you can
apply to enhance learning:
10
Life Skills
Life skills or psychosocial skills include
decision making and problem solving,
creative thinking and critical thinking,
communication and interpersonal skills,
self-awareness and empathy, and coping
with emotion and stress.
Teaching skills
11
Performance,
vocational
livelihood skills
and
Vocational
training
should
be
individualized to fit into the street childs
life, interests and goals. A child who begs
in buses may be taught how to sing; if a
street child works as a vendor in a tourist
spot, he may be taught words of a foreign
language to enhance his chances of earning
money.
Physical skills
Suggestions:
Based on the above development and
strategy, a few suggestions as per the
convinience of the NGO have been put
forth.
The main 3 pillars of the NGO stand as
follows:
Shelter
Nutrition
Education
On the basis of the above three pillars, the
suggestions have been segregated.
Shelter:
As per the government of India, the main
slogan which has to be concentrated on
stands as follows:
Roti, Kapda, Makaan
The need for Roti is being trying to be met
by the Midday meal concept.
For the case of shelter, a proper green,
environmentally acceptable e-home can be
thought of through which all of the
educational needs of the students can be
met through which. The minimum basic
eminities required for the education of the
students such as internet should be
installed. The other basic needs of the
home are also to be met. But the shelter
should be in such a way that it meets the
basic needs of being able to accommodate
the required strength.
For all the basic eminities required like
blankets, cots, beds, matresses, clothes,
glasses, plates, and many more can be got
freely.
For that many awareness schemes can be
thought of in conducting.
The other best way to connect to the
people through is the usage of internet. An
app can be made so as to get the details of
all the free items that you can get through.

Nutrition:
Conclusion:
BBWS, one of the responsible NGOs, is
very much responsibly working towards
the development of the street children.
With the above few changes, by
implementing the changes as mentioned
above, the NGO will run towards the very
sole purpose of the establishment of the
NGO. The above are a few suggestions
which can be worked on to start with and
slowly improved upon.
