Project Description:
The main reason why the construction sector has entered in Internet is the own
potential of this market. In fact, the proportion of GNP of the construction market
is one of the biggest. This project is to develop a commercial website for an
institution. The web site includes all information about the institution and news &
articles publishing.
Theoretically, SMEs are those who cannot afford to implant their own technological
systems. SMEs will be the ones who can take profit from a tool like Internet that will
let them manage their company with unnecessary cost.
However, there are a lot of SMEs in the construction sector who think of the online
world as something unknown and strange, and, consequently, have more difficulty in
adapting to this world.

: Implementing Barcode RFID Tags
: Asp.net, JSP, c#.net, MVP with WCF, Mysql
: 05

Project Description:
Godavari Pipes intended to implement Barcode based solution for tracking of
completed products (Pipes/Coils) from manufacturing section to dispatch section.
The initial phase of the solution contains the following features

Packing Slip generation Module(Desktop Application)

Integration Module

Dispatch Module(HHT Application)

Reports Module(Web Application)

Packing Slip Generation Module:After getting Job Card from concern department, production staff from production
department can produce products (Pipes/Coils) based on Job Card. Each product has
length, no. lengths and quantity. After producing a particular quantity for a particular
product from respective machine, the production in charge will print on packing slip
label with product name, quantity, Machine No & Batch No, Date and Barcode
(Machine No & Batch No) by entering product name, quantity, Machine No & Batch
Integration module:Once product is approved by production in charge using Desktop application/HHT
application, then csv file is generated with product details in specific folder as

mutually agreed format. ERP system has to pick up the csv file for invoice
generation.
Dispatch module:Products loading in-charge should able to load the products into the truck using
Hand Held Terminal by scanning each barcode on packing slip of product. The product
scanned result is stored MySql database using WIFI technology.
Reports module:It is web based application. Here different types of product reports are generated
by the system based on selected criteria(such as approved products, rejected
products, dispatched products, products at store and given date time). The report
data is retrieved from MySql database. These reports are accessed by different
branches (Godavari Polymers) in all over India using internet.

: Time and attendance using biometric devices
: c#.net, MVP with WCF, Mysql
: 08

Data Collection Devices coupled with time management software control labour cost
by reducing data entry mistakes, reducing time theft, and making sure corporate
payroll policies are met at the time the employee punches In and Out. In addition,
compliance risk is reduced by not allowing employees to punch In/Out before or after
scheduled times. Admin productivity is increased because managers and
administrators are able to retrieve, edit, and analyse time information from the data
collection devices at their local or remote desktop.
Here are 3 Time & Attendance Data Collection Device Options:
1) Work Time web clock for PCs/Tablets/Smart Phones
Work Time is a multi-faceted option for collecting time & attendance over network
workstation PCs, tablets and remotely on smart phones. This bilingual
(English/Spanish) application reduces requests for past time & attendance data,
allows employees web access to electronically request time off directly through a web
connected device. Employees also have the capability to clock in and out at a standalone PC, at any designated network PC / tablet, or remotely on a smart phone. This
feature also allows employees to view hours worked, allocate time to a specific
department, and when used in conjunction with a labour management system to
provide a complete and easy to use process for web based time recording, employee
information access and integration with payroll processing.
2) Proximity Card Readers
Proximity card readers are another solution to meet time & attendance data
collection needs. With proximity card readers, employees clock in & out using an
individually issued proxy card with their embedded ID number. Proximity card
readers are popular with employees because they are familiar and comfortable with
them, however they are less secure than a biometric device since they can be

vulnerable to buddy punching. Nevertheless, this device can prevent employees from
punching in or out during unauthorized times. Like the Work Time web clock,
proximity card readers tie into a labour management system completely automating
the time & attendance process and integration with payroll processing.
3) Biometrics = Hand Scan or Finger Print Reader
Another affordable, and in my opinion the best choice, time & attendance data
collection option are biometric scanners. Employees use their hand or finger print as
their card with biometric scanners. This means no more forgetting to bring time
cards, tabulating cards, or manual entry time sheets. The biometric scanners used
complex algorithms of stored hand measurements and finger prints to verify an
employee ID when clocking In/Out. This is a great solution for companies that have
minimal supervision, have challenges with buddy punching and time fraud. The main
advantage of implementing a biometric scanner for time recording is that an
employee is unable to punch for another employee. This eliminates any time fraud
issues, reducing payroll costs and increasing the companys bottom line. Like the
Work Time web clock and proximity card readers, both the biometric hand scanner
and finger print reader tie into a labour management system completely automating
the time & attendance system.
