Flier
Description:
This is my is a brochure I made for a project! It is a menu for a fancy
sandwich shop called Deli-ctable. It is meant as a fun lunch or dinner spot
for co-workers and friends.

Objective:
Design a creative, full-color, folding brochure to promote a company and
their services.

Programs I used:
InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

Process:
I put all the photos into photoshop and did some light editing to enhance
the photos and croped them to the size I wanted. I then created the logo in
Illustrator by distorting a pair of squares and adding the text. Then I put
it all to Indesign and formatted my triangular pages, added text using the
paragraph text tool so it would all be uniform. I created my own text
triangles useing the pen tool so the text would fit in the pages better.

Event Ad
Description:
This is my event flyer that I made using a scanned image and Microsoft
office word software. It is a flier advertising a camping event for college
students to sleep under the stars for a night.

Objective:
Design an event ad using a picture that I scaned from a magazine. And
design an advertizment using only Word

Programs I used:
Word

Process:
I first spent some time (more than I would like to admit) looking for an
image to scan to use for this flier. I then played around with the colors a
little in Word but ultimately decided that I liked the original image the
best. I tried to solve the issue of how to make the words stand out in a few
different ways until i settled with the opaque grey box. I tried to implement
the rule of thirds in the way i spaced my text and in the way i put the text
bow in a third of the page.

designed this poster as an ispirational poster for young to teenage girls

Objective:
Design something using a photo that I had taken and edited.

Programs I used:
Photoshop

Process:
I used only Photoshop. I really liked the box tool, which I used to create
the stripe theme. I first took the picture, I took several before deciding on
this one. I then did some sketches to find a design i liked to go with this
picture. I then uploaded the photo to photoshop and edited it by changing
the vibrance and making a few things a little more sharp. Then plugged it
into this document. I played around with the stripes and the picture a little I
made the stripes overlap the picture and made them opaque to tie them into
to the picture and the rest of the design.
