The San Diego Young Catholic Married Couples invites
you to meet other Catholic couples in their 20's and 30's
for a mix of spiritual, social and service events throughout each month! Sign up for our e-mail list at
groups.yahoo.com/group/sdycmc. If you have any questions please contact us at brit.reilly@gmail.com.
Young couples are also invited to a family potluck at Kate
Sessions Park, 5115 Soledad Rd, San Diego, on Sunday,
August 2nd at 5:00 pm. Please bring a dish to share. We'll
have some white balloons marking where we are at the
top of the hill.

Pastors Prayer Team

"No memberships, No dues, No fees, No sign-up"
A team "without borders"
Just say 5-10 minutes of prayer each a day for Fr.
Mel and the parish. When you first wake up or in
the shower or with coffee and toast or driving to
work or over lunch or while walking or jogging or
just before bed. It's easy to work it in! Just do it!

Homebound Ministry
Many people reach a point in their lives when they are
no longer able to come to church regularly, but they
remain a loved and cared about member of our parish
community. How can we help them?

SAN DIEGO

Volunteer to visit a homebound member

Volunteer to bring communion
Volunteer to transport someone to church with you
Pray for the volunteers and the homebound
Pray that they understand how treasured they are
in Gods eyes

If you feel you can help with this ministry, or if you

know of someone who could benefit from it, please call
Robin at 619-922-7941 or notify the rectory office.

SAVE THE DATE

This will be an outdoor Mass on the grass in

front of the church; a celebration of our St.
Columba community.
