Organisational Structure Of Parag

- The Organizational Structure of Parag is of Horizontal


type.
HERE PREPARE FLOW FIGURE OF ORGANISATIONAL
STRUCTURE

In this hierarchy General Manager is the Apex body.


General Manager is the Unit head of the organisation.

Beneath General Manager in Hierarchy are administrative
in charges of different departments.

The role of administrative in charge in organisation is to


look over different department and department heads
assigned under them.

New Industrial policy:


As per new industrial policy, which came in ...........,
monopoly over service market area for dairy and
dairy products withdrew for particular Company.
After this new amend in policy, any Company can
service in any state or any part of the country.
This step came in effect by Government to break
Monopoly over a fix market any particular Company
and to widen the service area for each and every
dairy based industry.
Impact of new Industrial policy:
A major change occurred to all dairy industries
including Parag dairy.
Financially, Parag dairy started
implementation of this new policy.

Prior to implement of this policy , Parag dairy had


very less competition in Uttar Pradesh.
After withdrew of Monopoly, Major companies active
in other states came to Uttar Pradesh in large
number.
Due to increased competition, Company is
continuously positively
fighting for improving
financial reputation.

Computerisation in Parag Dairy :


With growing Business and widening of dairy service after new
policy , need of computerisation became vital at Parag.
To service efficiently . computerisation in Parag started 10
years back.
Still Parag Dairy is partly Computerised till date.

However each department has its separate computer set up.


Each department has got its own operator for furnishing
various departmental and system generated jobs.

Efeect of Computerisation in Parag :


Mechanisation and advancement in technology always leads
to innovation and progress in industry.
After set up of computer and accessories at Parag , efficiency
of performing various departmental job became progressive.
Since, at Parag almost each department has got its system so
preparing work flow sheet and storing data became handy and
easy.

Recruitment in Parag Dairy

Recruitment of Workers and managers in parag is carried


through proper channel through PCDF.
In case of requirement for recruitment of employees, Parag
dairy sends notification to PCDF, which after receiving
notification discuss the same with expert panel.
If positive conclusion comes for recruitment need, then
advertisement is published in several reputed news papers.
Interested and eligible readers after going through
advertisement apply for advertised post.
After receiving several application, PCDF organize exam on
prescribed date.
Shortlisted candidates have to go through interview with panel
of PCDF, then after final selected candidates get their
appointment letter for applied job.

However it is found at Parag that from past few years very few
fresh recruitment has been done.

Most of the working employees have more than 5 years


working experience with Parag Dairy.

Performance Appraisal at Parag:


At Parag appraisal body for reviewing performance is PCDF ltd.
For reviewing performance, a detailed report of duty assigned
and working of officers is being prepared by Management at
Parag.
Prepared report in prescribed format is then sent to Pradeshik
Cooperative Dairy Federation Ltd.
Concerned department of PCDF Ltd after going through
prepared report of employees and officers, Complete
Performance appraisal procedure.

Discipline at Parag:
Discipline at Parag is found Fair, but in case of misconduct of
discipline or Violation of any rule , it is handled by General
Manager according to the level of misconduct.
In case of minor misconduct at Parag like failure to obey safety
rules, smoking in prohibited area, minor violation of rules,
failure to be present when needed,
carelessness etc provision of minor punishment by GM is in
process.

Minor punishment by GM at Parag includes oral reprimand,


Written reprimand, Loss of privileges, Fines.
But in case misconduct of discipline found major, GM report the
matter to the higher authorities of PCDF. where they look over
the matter and take necessary action as per requirement.
