BASU ROY

Well-rounded Leadership Trainer with significant and


diverse experience in concept, planning and execution of instructional and
coaching initiatives for executive and senior leaders. Excel at leading and
mentoring world-class, cross-disciplinary project teams and team leaders. He
has over thirteen years of work experience in Engineering & Management both
in India & the US mostly working for the HCL group. For the last thirteen years
he has been working as an Organization Improvement Consultant in South
Asia offering HRD Consulting services as well as Training.

He is a B Tech (Hons) from IIT Kharagpur. Subsequently he did his MBA from IISWBM.
He has a strong research orientation and has designed several HRD related tools and aids. These include
psychometric tools for assessing managerial competencies, moderation tools for sensing and
evening out biased responses in 360 degree assessment and a web based learning portal with a built
in capability for assessment.
Has been working with top notch Indian business houses like TATA, Aditya Birla & RPG and MNCs like
Siemens, Pepsi & Unilever. He also has his landmark on ACC, Berger Paints, CESC, Erevmax
