WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR CONTRACT POSITION
Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering & Research
(SAMEER) an autonomous scientific Institution of the Department of
Electronics and Information Technology, Ministry of Communication &
IT is a premier Research and Development Institution of the
Government of India. Its main objective is to promote the growth of
Science and Technology in the areas of RF/ Microwave Electronics,
Medical Electronic, Electromagnetics, OptoElectronics, Millimeter
wave Technology, and its allied areas. SAMEER has its headquarter at
Mumbai and Centres at Chennai, Kolkata, Visakhapatnam and
Guwahati.
SAMEER, Mumbai is looking for a young and dynamic resident engineer
for service and maintenance of its 6 MV Linear Accelerator machine at
Cancer Institute, Adyar, Chennai for a contract period of two years.

Note: Higher consolidated pay may be considered for deserving

candidates. Contract period initially will be of two years on contract
basis (likely to be extended further).
Job location: Cancer Institute, Adyar, Chennai
Selected candidate will be trained at Chennai site and Mumbai office
before posting at site.
Age Limit: Max. 25 years as on date of interview.
Walk in interview on 03.08.2015 at Director (Administration)
office, Cancer Institute (WIA), 38, Sardar Patel Road, Chennai600036 and the reporting time is 9: 30 A.M.

Blank application forms are available on www.sameer.gov.in in
recruitment section and may be downloaded and duly filled and
submitted during registration. Only attested true copies are attached
to the application form. Original certificates should be shown for
verification at the time of interview and taken back by the candidates.
Any candidate producing incorrect information will be considered as
disqualified for selection.
Interested candidates shall be required to register for Walk in
interview on 03.08.2015 at Director (Administration) office, Cancer
Institute (WIA), 38, Sardar Patel Road, Chennai- 600036 and the
reporting time is 9: 30 A.M.
No candidate will be allowed to register after 10: 45 hrs.
The application form should not be sent by post/e-mail.
Applicants must produce Photo ID proof along with duly filled
application form (Available on www.sameer.gov.in) supported by
attested copies of certificates of educational qualifications, mark
sheets, birth date proof, passport size photos, experience and NOC
from employer if working in Government departments, public sectors,
autonomous organizations and Government funded research agencies
at the time of interview.
Note: Candidates should bring one set of Xerox of all documents for
submission with application along with originals.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:
(1) The above posts carry consolidated pay and appointment will be
purely on contract basis.
(2) The contract appointment shall not confer any right for
regularization/absorption or continuation of service in SAMEER.
(3) The persons selected for contract appointment will not have any
claim or right for his/her continuity in service or automatic extension
of the term of contract.
(4) Candidates may have to appear for a written objective type of
questions.
(5) No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for appearing for the written
test/interview.
(6) Canvassing in any form and/or bringing in any influence will be
treated as disqualification for the post.
(7) No interim queries will be entertained.
