The regulator parameters must be specified for the
additional PID regulator.

RE 30 211/03.00

Functional description
The necessary symmetrical operating voltage UB is protected against
reverse polarity. If the card does not include a voltage regulator to
supply the closed loop regulator and positional transducer electronics,
an additional stabilised auxiliary voltage UM must be available.
The auxiliary voltage is protected against reverse polarity up to a
maximum current of 1 A.
The amplifier may be optionally equipped with a PID regulator
(D part only effects the actual signal) with selectable PI part and
reserved relay with potential free toggle switch. Using this regulator,
an additional regulator circuit (e.g. for a closed loop drive control)
may be superimposed. P and D parts may be set on the front plate.
The switching state of the regulator is displayed by LED "H1"and
that of the relay by LED "H3" (the LED's light up when the relay is
closed). The PID regulator is set up in accordance with the customer
specification and hence must be stated in clear text on the order.
These amplifiers are allocated a special type code on delivery. The
reserve relay may be loaded up to 28 V and 2 A.

Amplifiers VT-SR10 and VT-SR11 operate using an inverted pulse output

stage comprising bipolar transistors. The output from this output stage
may be switched on and off by means of the interlock release circuit
(relay K2). Interlock release is indicated by the lighting up of LED
"H2" on the front plate. The switching voltage for all relays is set to
either 0 V or + UB using jumpers J12 and J13 (works side + UB).
The output stage comprises a current regulator with integral dither
generator. The amplitude of the dither signal is set using R7. A PD
regulator is used to control the pilot stage (command current). The
actual current fed back is displayed at the same time by the indicator
on front plate.
The oscillator/demodulator is used to determine the piston position.
It is designed as a plug-in card. The parameters of which are adapted
to the corresponding valve type.
The command position and the actual position are fed to the PD
regulator. The D part of the regulator only effects the actual signal
(velocity feedback).
The zero point may be set on the front plate by means of R3 ("NP").

Project / maintenance notes / additional information

The amplifier card may only be plugged or unplugged when switched off!
Command signals may only be switched using relays with gold contacts (small voltages, small currents)!
Only use contacts with a loading of approx. 40 V, 50 mA for switching card relays (interlock release,
regulator selection switch, reserved)!
Screen all actual and commmnal signal lines. Leave one end of screen open. Connect one end
to ground ()!
Do not lay signal lines close to power lines!
Recommendation: 1. Screen all solenoid lines (connect one end to )!
2. Use cable type LiYCY 1,5 mm2 for lines less than 50 m long.
Longer lengths on enquiry!
Note: Electrical signals (e.g. actual value) emitted by valve electronics must not be used to switch
off safety-related machinery functions!
(Please note the "Security requirements for fluid power operated machinery and parts - Hydraulics"
according to prEN 982.)
