The CCTA Air Handling Unit range

offers an extreme flexibility to meet
application constraints in terms of
thermal, acoustical, dimensional,
and functional aspects.
This range has been designed to
meet current customers needs for
new and existing buildings,
including offices, commercial
centers, retail stores, hotels, and
movie theatres. In addition many
options have been developed to
meet hospital and industrial
facilities requirements.

- The unit structure is based on a

newly designed framework made
of extruded anodized aluminum
and reinforced glass fiber or
aluminum corners to ensure
strong rigidity. The entire casing
construction is made with no
welding, providing a corrosion
resistant assembly and a long life
cycle.

Designed to meet every

project requirements

- The casing is made of 25, 40, 50,

60, 70 or 100 mm double wall
panels with various materials to
comply with thermal, acoustical
and hygienic requirements of all
projects.
- Panels are fitted to the framework
with a screwless locking system
including a specific rubber seal for
a nice finish, optimized air
tightness, and easy panel removal.

The CCTA range covers air volumes

pressure up to 2000 Pa. The units
can be provided in an infinite
number of sizes variable with 50mm
increments.

casing with spring isolators and
flexible connections.

40 kg/m3 density (0.6 mm thick
double skin)
- Mineral wool with 80 kg/m3
density (1.2 mm thick double skin)

materials and anti-corrosion

Enhanced casing design

Modular unit construction

External units
CCTA Air Handling units are
available in outdoor version.
External units are equipped with a
proper roof protruding by 100 mm
all around the units.
Fresh air and exhaust air openings
are equipped with either weather
louvers or hoods.

The CCTA modular unit construction
allows to accommodate site
constraints and can be built with the
following configurations:

Energy efficient
systems

- Horizontal in line
- Horizontal, L or U shaped
- Double stacked and side by side

External unit

- Vertical, up stream air flow.

Super quiet version
For projects where surrounding
sound levels are critical, CCTA units
can be manufactured with the
following options:
- Panel sheets from 0.6 to 2 mm
- Up to 100mm panel thickness
- High density mineral wool

Technical cabinets
To protect peripheral devices such
as humidifier generators, pumps,
valves, starters and other control
equipment, an additional cabinet
with the same casing construction
as the unit can be fitted to the side
of the unit.

For reduced operating costs, the

CCTA units can be equipped with
integrated heat recovery systems,
with efficiency from 40 to 80%:
Run around coils (coil loop)
With stacked or side by side
exhaust/supply units, the heat
recovery system can be fully
equipped with the hydraulic
module, including expansion tank,
circulating pump, piping, and all
necessary parts needed for proper
operation.

- Perforated internal metal sheet.

Enhanced thermal performances.
When Air Handling Units have to be
installed in severe humidity and
temperature conditions, CCTA units
can be built with 70 mm triple skin
panels. In this case, panels and
framework include a thermal break
profile to minimize thermal bridges.

A solution for each project

Plate heat exchangers

Made of aluminum and optionally
protected against corrosion with an
acrylic treatment, the plate heat
exchangers can be provided with
bypass damper to control
temperature and prevent freezing.
Thermal rotary wheels
Of sensible or hygroscopic type
with high efficiency, the thermal
wheels are equipped with individual
motor, drive and speed controller.

Hygiene Options

CCTA Air Handling Units have been

designed with Indoor Air Quality in
mind to provide occupants with a
safe, enjoyable and productive
environment.

Cleanable version
When integral cleaning inside the
units is required, all components
such as fan motor groups, silencers,
and droplet eliminator can be fitted
on rails or rollers for an easy
removal.

Casing air tightness

Air tightness certified Class B as per
EN 1886, ensures minimized
untreated air bypass.

Cold room type door handle

Inclined drain pans

On all units, cooling coil, humidifier
and heat recovery sections are
equipped with inclined drain pans
made of stainless steel 430 quality.

CCTA-H
Hygienic version

Stainless steel
Frames of cooling coil and droplet
eliminator are made of stainless
steel as standard.
High efficiency filters
Fitted on universal frames, the
filters used on all units minimize
filter bypass leakage: 0.21% bypass
leakage over 400 Pa differential
pressure. Corresponds to Class F9
as per EN1886.
Optional features
For applications with aggressive air
or for cleaning purposes, the
panels, framework and other
internal metallic parts such as filter
frames and supports can be
optionally treated against corrosion
or manufactured with specific
materials such as aluminum or
stainless steel.

Easy fan removal

For applications where hygiene

requirements are critical such as
hospitals, laboratories, clean rooms,
the CCTAH (Hygienic execution) is
available with the following
additional features:
- Special hygienic framework with
round corners
- 65 mm triple skin panel

Automatic cleaning system

Sections needing to be regularly
cleaned or disinfected can be
provided with the following options:
- Welded inner skin made of
stainless steel providing a fully
water-tight section.

- Minimized dust traps due to

smooth internal walls

Eurovent participation program for
Air Handling Units. The CCTA range
is certified under the number
03.12.047 and presented in the
directory of certified AHU.
