IN RE: ALMA BITACS ACCOUNTABILITY WITH THE HEIRS OF
AMADO C. VELASCO AND ESTRELLA Y. VELASCO
This is to inform everyone that I, Amado Y. Velasco Jr., am assuming any
and all the accountabilities of Alma Bitac with regard to the services she
has rendered for and in behalf of the heirs of Amado C. Velasco and Estrella
Y. Velasco, namely, Andreah Leah Velasco Romero, Gerard Y. Velasco,
Geralyn Y. Velasco and yours truly, including but not limited to the collection
of lease payments from two (2) properties belonging to the decedents,
pending proper review of its legitimacy and the determination of the proper
amount due the heirs.
This is also to inform you that the Tahimik property, from which most of the
lease proceeds are sourced, is owned by Andreah Leah Velasco Romero and
yours truly. Moreover, the Balusong property, which was recently sold, still
has unresolved issues with regard to the receivables from one of the heirs.
Both factors must necessarily be taken into consideration in case any kind
of settlement may be had in relation to the accountabilities of Alma Bitac.
Furthermore, this is to inform any and all claimants to the aforesaid
accountabilities of Alma Bitac, to show proof of said accounts based on
generally accepted accounting principles and/or legitimate accounting
records. Payment for the said accountabilities of Alma Bitac will be
promptly made after such has been properly determined and validated,
without prejudice to any legal compensation/offsetting that is proper under
the circumstances, considering that some of the heirs themselves have
accounts to settle with yours truly.
Lastly, I strongly advice the heirs who filed the complaint to cease and
desist from harassing Alma Bitac by way of SMS, not to mention
discouraging and threatening her in case she decides to work for yours
truly, even if the same is her right and her means of earning a living for her
family and as a means to settle her outstanding obligations. I strongly
advice the heirs to refrain from publicly bullying her and calling her
kawatan (thief), as was recently uttered to her by one of the heirs
children. I also request that any and all property that was wrongfully taken
from her through threats, bullying, and misrepresentations be returned to
her. To close, I vehemently urge the heirs to respect Alma Bitac as a human
being which is their duty and obligation as Christians faithful to God
Almighty.
