You are advised to use beam available in libraries such as API, Euro ... to do monorail beam or
beamclampalways.
Minimize use of beam combinations plate bearing capacity because quite often not as expected
by the weld defects and workmanship depend few welders in the field as well as monitoring
group.

Monorailbeamnothingmorethanaformofsteelbeamsaredesignedtoservethemovementof
equipment equivalent crane to lift heavy machinery on the topside as space allows the use of
cranes(asdescribedintheaboveimage).
The design is quite similar monorail structural design common project we're doing based on the
guidelinesoftheAPI,AISC2005andPTS.
And lifting crane (monorail) is the mechanical side, usually purchased available from the
manufacturerondemand
