processes to ensure sustainability while delivering the best value. We have always aimed to make stylish
and durable floors with the lowest possible impact on the environment, and have never had to compromise
quality or performance in order to comply with legislation or to meet environmental requirements.
| Environmental Responsibility
Manufacturing
All of our products are 100% recyclable. Every bit of our manufacturing waste is recycled in a closed loop process. In fact, when our own
factories do not have enough waste to reuse, we buy in waste from other factories. The manufacturing process for the polymer in our
products requires significantly less energy than other plastics. Our packaging is 100% recyclable and our factories are certified to the
ISO14001 environmental standard and ISO9001 quality standard.
Post-manufacturing
In our offices, we have introduced several energy savings techniques including motion sensitive lighting and low energy bulbs. Our
storage facilities use high density racking, meaning we can store more products in a smaller space, using less energy and minimizing
impact. We use tailored logistics solutions to transport our products with the lowest impact on the environment. Our adhesives are
water based, solvent-free and have low Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) emissions. Between our offices and warehouse, we recycle
nearly 50% of our total waste every year.
Third party certifications

FloorScore certificate from SCS Global Services, conforming to California Specification 01350 for the school classroom and private
office parameters in USA. Leadership in Energy and Environmental (LEED) credit 4.3 in the USA. California Department of Public Health
(CDPH/CAL) section 01350 for low VOCs. C grade Ecospecifier rating in Australia, currently working towards an A grade rating. Generic
Building Research Establishment (BRE) Green Guide rating of A/A+ in the UK.

Stylish flooring is even more appealing when it comes with peace of mind. Our manufacturing
and quality control standards allow us to offer warranties of up to 20 years depending on
application and usage.

Terms & conditions
Subject to conditions and exclusions, Karndean International

Limited (Karndean) Warranties the product will not wear
out and will be free from all manufacturing defects from the
date of purchase for the Warranty period set out in the table below.
Wear out is defined as the removal of the wear layer
and design pattern.

Product
1. The product has been suitably

specified, professionally
installed and been subject to
normal wear and tear.
2. The product has been
installed by a skilled
tradesman, adhering to
industry installation standards,
guidance from Karndean
and an approved Karndean
adhesive.
3. The product has been
cleaned and maintained
using instructions provided
and barrier matting or other
such method has been
provided at all external
entrances to prevent
ingress of dirt.
4. Protection has been provided

to avoid heavy point loading
to the floor.
The Warranty does not cover:
1. Damage caused by external
factors including but not
limited to sunlight, water
(including water leakages
and sub floor moisture),
stains, spillages, heat or
hydrostatic pressure.
2. Willful or accidental damage.
3. Modifications, repairs or
alterations unless carried out
by a skilled tradesman and
notified to Karndean.
4. Poor installation or incorrect
use of sub floor materials.

Any claim should be made in writing or by telephone to Karndean International

If it is found necessary to replace a product no longer available, Karndean
reserves the right to replace the floor with a product of equal value
and specification.
Save as detailed above and to the fullest extent permitted by law Karndean shall
not accept or be liable under this Warranty for any direct, indirect, special or
consequential loss, expense, cost, claim or damage (including liquidated
damages). This Warranty does not affect your statutory rights.
