Ifm efector AC1144 addressing/diagnostic handheld for AS-I Systems

Instructions to Address AS-I nodes and Force Outputs of AS-I Nodes* :


*(The AC1144 has many capabilities not listed below, see included Operating Instructions for more information.)
To ADDRESS AS-I nodes:
1. To turn the AC1144 on, push the Read/On button
2. AC1144 is now in Address Mode ADDR
3. Address is displayed on right side (example: 07)
4. To change address, scroll up or down using + and keys
5. To assign the new address, push the Write/Set button. The address number is displayed on the right side
6. To read the new address, push the Read/On button. The new address number is displayed on the right side
To FORCE OUTPUTS of AS-I nodes:
1. Use a Micro DC Male to Female patch cable (ifm efector P/N: E70117 or other) and screw the male plug onto the main
power/communication plug of the AS-I node.
2. Plug the female end of the E70117 into the top port of the AC1144
3. Turn AC1144 on, push the Read/On button
4. Push the Mode button eight times until DATA is displayed in the upper middle of the screen
5. Push the + button once, the right side of the display reads 01
6. Push the WRITE/SET button to force the output
Example: To force the solenoid output of the AC2306 AS-I valve sensor. Repeat the above instructions.
Notes:
1. Handheld device turns off after 1 minute of non-use
2. Use the included AC power cable to recharge the AC1144

Description

Standard I/O device was replaced by AS-I version 2.1 I/O device
