Alumni Meet 2010

Subject: First Alumni Meet of the Institute.

Dear Friends,

I am delighted to inform you that your Alma Matter is holding an

Alumni Reunion on 2nd April, 2010 (Friday) at the Institute premises. It
is to rekindle the joy in the hearts of our alumni.

The get together is aimed not only for strengthening the Alumni
Network but also to reunite the old friends and batch mates, to discuss
and share their industrial experiences and to cherish their college day
memories lost in the run of time. This form of experience sharing could
be a source of personal and professional growth for all IHMites and also
provide a social network for like-minded people having common
interests.

Important Instructions
1. The meeting is proposed to be held on 2nd April 2010 (Friday)
followed by a dinner. The date is fixed keeping into mind the
ongoing semester exams and other curriculum bounding. The
Alumni Meet will start at 6 pm sharp. The alumni students are
also welcome for the Annual Valediction Function which is
also organized on 2nd April 2010, 3 pm onwards.
2. Details about the formal function and the agenda will be
communicated to only those alumni who are willing to attend the
meet.
3. No fee will be charged from the attendees attending this meet.
4. The Institute has limited accommodation facility (sharing) which
can be provided free on first come first served basis. However,
the organizing team can assist the attendees in booking
subsidized self financed accommodation in nearby hotels and
rest houses.
5. The organizing committee can also help in providing taxi or
shuttle service as per request but it has to be self financed by
the attendee.
6. Spouses of the attendees including their kids would be welcome.
However the number of persons attending the meeting must be
 intimated in advance to facilitate the organizing committee for
making necessary arrangements.
7. This is not the first Alumni Meet. It is a get together in order to
discuss and frame the structure of the Institute Alumni.
8. All those interested to attend the reunion are requested to
inform the organizing team regarding their participation not late
by 10th March 2010 (Wednesday) so that necessary
arrangements are made in time. This being the first of meeting
of the institutes alumni, the organizing committee looks forward
for your full co operation in order to make this successful and
memorable occasion.
9. Only those names will be considered who inform the organizing
team regarding their participation through the mentioned email
or helpline number. Any one posting their decision on Facebook
or Orkut will not be considered.
10. In order to invite the alumni, the organizing team is using social
networking websites like orkut and facebook. Efforts will be
made to send emails to all the alumni, but lack of an updated
database at present is a hurdle. You are requested to inform all
your friends and batch mates regarding the forthcoming event.
All the alumni are requested to send us their details so as to
maintain an updated database for future reference. For this
kindly fill the FORM 1 and email it back to us on
alumniihmgsp@gmail.com. The organizing team will highly
appreciate your efforts and cooperation.
