The Code of Safe Working Practices is a guide as how to apply

regulations for the health and safe working practices on board ships. It
is addressed to everyone so that they are all aware of what is being
done. The employer has a duty to assess the risks to workers while
workers have a responsibility to ensure they care for their own safety
and that of others.

The International Ship And Port Facility Security Code is part 2 of
Charter XI of SOLAS and is designed to enhance marine security cooperatively between ships and port facilities.
