Paris
Talks,

We will stand before whoever is able and willing to judge, or perhaps the silence of extinction, as a generation that willfully and unnecessarily imposed egregious wrongs on all future generations, depriving them of liberty, property and life.
David
Orr
OR
Climate Change is not a problem for another generation.
President
Obama
WE
CALL
ON
THE
PRESIDENT
AND
LEADERS
OF
ALL
NATIONS
TO
SIGN
AND
ENFORCE
A
SANE
AND
LIFE
SUSTAINING
AGREEMENT
IN
PARIS
Before
the
end
of
2015,
the
people
of
the
world
will
know
if
their
leaders
will
take
action
on
the
most
critical
issue
of
human
civilization
climate
change.
The
United
Nations
Climate
Change
Conference
in
Paris
will
determine
the
future
for
life
on
planet
earth,
our
common
home.
As
people
of
the
earth
and
as
citizens
of
the
United
States,
we
demand
CLIMATE
JUSTICE.
We
will
make
our
voices
heard
in
Washington:
we
expect
the
United
States
of
America
to
be
a
leader
in
addressing
climate
change
by
drastically
reducing
our
greenhouse
gas
emissions
and
by
making
a
commitment
to
keep
fossil
fuels
in
the
ground.
And
we
expect
the
United
States
to
act
with
compassion
toward
all
the
people
of
the
earth
who
have
been
harmed
by
the
impacts
of
climate
change,
and
economic
system
and
ecological
damage
we
have
promoted.
As
Pope
Francis
states
in
his
Encyclical:
A
true
ecological
approach
always
becomes
a
social
approach;
it
must
integrate
questions
of
justice
in
debates
on
the
environment,
so
as
to
hear
both
the
cry
of
the
earth
and
the
cry
of
the
poor.
We
gather
together,
as
different
segments
of
our
society,
for
a
common
agenda
--
a
sane,
just
and
compassionate
form
of
human
society
on
earth,
our
common
home.
We
acknowledge
our
dependence
on
and
respect
for
all
life
on
the
planet.
We
build
on
Pope
Francis
Encyclical
structure
that
focuses
on
life,
justice,
and
compassion.
