FileZilia and XAMPP. Eclipse is a very popular,
open source, Integrated Development Environment (IDE) used to develop applications in a

Use Quick Mask mode, alpha channels and
layer masks to isolate image areas. Create
clipping groups to use one layer's contents to
mask another's. Create vector paths as tools
for selecting
images, creating transparent
areas in images to be used with other applications and for drawing shapes. Create color
swatches, gradients and patterns. Create layer
styles that can apply effects, colors, patterns
and gradients in one step. Use the background
eraser and the extract command to create

Build on the solid foundation of concepts and
principles for website planning to create up
to three websites, including one from an idea
generated before class starts, one from a
group class idea, and one of your own choosing. Students will plan their sites, use HTML
and CSS semantically, create and apply graphics and multimedia,
apply user experience
(UX), accessibility, and testing. You may also
use Oreamweaver or other text editors (TextWrangler, Notepad++, etc.) and browser consoles to read and write markup language and
styles sheets to related your sites. The class
will emphasize mobile first responsive design,
and you will be introduced to CSS Frameworks,
Modernizr, and other trends in website design.
