The maps below show the village of Stokeford in1930 and 2010.

.Summarize the information and make comparison where relevant

There are two maps related to the village of Stokeford in two different
years, 1930 and 2010. Some changes have taken place over an eightyyear period and it is apparent the village has become increasingly
.populated in 2010
As can be seen, the number of houses constructed has increased during
these years. Furthermore, there used to be just one main road in 1930,
while four new roads have been were constructed in 2010. All farmlands
were converted to roads and new houses. Moreover, there used to be a
large house with a big garden in the east of the village in 1930, has been
which was replaced with retirement home with a small garden and a
linking road in 2010. The primary school has been was developed and has
been turned into three buildings in 2010. In 1930, there are were two
shops in west of village near the River Stoke, which have been were
demolished in exchange for road construction accompanied by some new
.houses on each side
By the comparison of these two years, it can be found, some feature

remained unchanged throughout these years such as bridge, river Stoke

and post office. The village has was developed and the dwellers of village
have risen. As a result, the natural habitat has decreased was and there
.was no farming land in 2010

The continued rise in the worlds population is the greatest

problem faced by humanity at the present time. What are the
causes of this continued rise? Do you agree that it is the greatest
?problem faced by humanity
With the advent of state-of-the-art technologies, many problems have
been addressed, which were previously out of the reach of people's
comprehension. Science-based technologies have triggered striking
changes in people's life style, which have turned out to be the principal
.reason of overpopulation
There are some contributing factors, liable for an increase in population.
One strong reason is attributed to improving healthcare systems having
been improved. Without science many people alive today would instead
died of diseases that are now easily treated. Many incurable and
contagious diseases have been cured by taking the precautions.
Furthermore, people have decreased the risk of chronic illnesses by
exercising and eating balanced diet. People's personal hygiene has, also,
.led to living longer than past
Having more access to increased recreational places, people have longer
life expectancy. They are more content with their life and care about their
health. In today's life sports and physical activities are integral parts of
societies. Governments have cultivated the sense of cleanliness in all
communities even in deprived areas. The expansion of cities has made
marked impact on providing more facilities and accommodation for
.people
I believe that this matter should be taken into consideration since it
causes some severe problems. An overt consequence of the
overpopulation is bound to be shortage of resources. People's demands
for having shelters may lead to more deforestation. The rising need for

food and medication care seems to be some other problems. People may

fail to live up to their basic needs due to too many individuals living on the
earth. Their being faced with hardships in order to fulfill their expectation
.may cause fighting and even world wars
To sum up, reproduction is on an accelerating rate due to a noticeable
advancement in technology which would turn into a disaster in near
.future. Some surveys should be applied so that this trouble can be solved
