Anuban Weekly Outline

This week we are learning:
Circle Time Review
This week during circle time we will
continue to review the days of the
week, months of the year and the
weather. We will then have a review
of our vocabulary for our current unit
and play a game to review.
This week in phonics circle time we
are going to practice do some TPR
where th students have to race
around the class and find various
classroom objects. We will also
review Unit 1 of Oxford Phonics world
2.
Review

Phonics

This week we will continue the phonics

with Unit 2 by asking the students to
give me all of the words and sounds
so I can write them onto the board
which we will then recite i.e. dad, pad
etc.
This week we are going to focus on
practicing all four sounds and we will
play various games such as splat and
flashcard draw to learn them in a fun
way. I will do lots of demonstrations on
the board so the students are
comfortable pronouncing the words
and spelling them to before we move
onto doing exercises in the workbooks.
I am aiming to complete pages 12 and
13 (ad, ag) and pages 14 and 15 (ap)
in the Oxford Phonics World 2
workbook.

them their name, age and where they are
from. Also please encourage the students
to practice their phonic alphabets at home

with reading. Please also encourage your
child to listen to the Youtube link to the
phonic alphabet.
Thank you.
