how to CREATE A PLASTIC bottle BIRDFEEDER

you will need:

or less
Plastic drink bottle
& cap (a 1 litre round
bottle works best)

2 x 20-30cm sticks
(or wooden spoons)

50 cm string

Scissors

bird feed

Its so easy to make

just follow these steps:

CREATE A PLASTIC BIRDFEEDER

1. Wash up
Clean the bottle and remove the label.

2. Make your perches

Punch two holes near the bottom on either side of the bottle,
and thread your stick through both. Repeat this a few centimetres
higher, but at an angle so your sticks form a cross if you look
from above.

3. Create feeding holes

Make small holes around 4cm above each of the four perches
youve created in step 2. Keep them a little less than a centimetre
wide, or the seed will simply fall out on its own.

4. Tie your handle

Make two little holes below the cap in the neck of the bottle,
then thread your string through, tying the two ends together.

5. Fill it up
Whenever you need to put in more feed (stick to sunower
or mixed seeds), just open the cap and pop them in.

TIME TO HANG IT UP JUST CHOOSE A TREE BRANCH

OR HANDY HOOK, SIT BACK WITH YOUR CHILD AND WAIT.
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CATS!
