term full-time position, I have worked as both an Architectural Design Technologist and Architectural
Technologist in Calgary and Vancouver, my education and work experience, have given me the opportunity to

organisation that will use my varied skills and experience has always been very important to me, in addition to
my education in Architectural Technology; I have extensive experience with projects of varying size, type, and
scope. I also have long-term use, and knowledge of, The “Alberta Building Code”, “National Building Code” and
the “City of Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver Land-use Bylaws.”

During my career I have gained extensive knowledge working with “AutoCAD and I have used all releases from
“AutoCAD R9.0” through “AutoCAD 2007” and “Autodesk Architectural Desktop R2” through “Architecture
2008”, in addition to my knowledge of various other software applications. I have also used “3D Studio VIZ”
and “3D Studio MAX” on several projects from simple massing models to fully rendered concepts. In my years
of experience with AutoCAD, I have gained extensive knowledge managing electronic project files using
AutoCAD‘s External Referencing to maintain project integrity; furthermore, I have used both “Paradox” and
“Microsoft Access”, to create a variety of databases for space and room data sheet, room finish schedules,
FF&E schedules, as well as, office management and facility management applications.

Throughout my career in the architectural industry, I have worked on numerous projects that required me to
function in a fast paced work environment, and have gained valuable experience working in a team
environment. I have participated in a variety of projects from Conceptual Design through Construction
Documents, and Contract Administration phases. I have also created, managed and enforced CAD Layering
Standards and written Drafting Manuals of Practice for several Firms; I have worked with in the past. As a
Senior Technologist, I believe it is my responsibility as a team leader to teach the less experienced staff and
display a work ethic that shows them how to work intelligently and with an attentive eye to detail on a project. I
