Company Rolls In Cell Tower on Wheels to Accommodate Large Crowds
CENTRE HALL, PA, AUG. 11, 2015 As thousands of people come together for the 141st Annual
Centre County Encampment and Grange Fair, AT&T* is bringing in extra network support to make sure
its customers can stay connected.
The company is setting up a cell tower on wheels (COW) to accommodate whats expected to be a
large number of smartphone users at the Grange Fair. The improved coverage will provide customers
with faster and more reliable connections during the event.
Events like the Centre County Grange Fair are full of memorable moments that our customers want to
share through text messages, pictures, status updates on social media and phone calls, said Tiffany
Baehman, vice president and general manager, AT&T Liberty States. Were hard at work to help
provide great coverage and fast speeds.
