Washington s second-leading rusher, with 391 yards in 2001; was the Huskies leadin
g rusher in 2002 with 688 yards on 202 carries.
Personal: Attended Pope John Paul II High School in Boca Raton, Florida, where h
e played football and basketball; only played one season of high school football
where he rushed for 700 yards and 13 touchdowns as a senior; majored in Compara
tive Literature at Washington.
College Accomplishments: Brown was one of the top cornerbacks in the Pac-10. In
2006, he played and started in all 13 of UCLA's games, and he ranked seventh in
the Pac-10 in interceptions, led the Bruins in interceptions (four) and passes
defended (nine), and made 47 tackles (33 solos). He also ranked fifth in the Pac
-10 in passes defended. Made 2nd team Walter Camp All American, Semi finalist fo
r Jim Thorpe Award (awarded to the nation s best DB). As a senoir led nation in pa
sses defensed. 4 year starter with 50 consecutive starts.
Personal: He majored in Political Science at UCLA. He is the son of Theotis an
d Chris Brown and he has a sister, Taylor. His father, Theotis, was a star runn
ing back at UCLA and played in the NFL for the Kansas City Chiefs, Seattle Seaha
wks and St. Louis Cardinals.
