1 CCIVR/OmniPCXEnterprise compatibility rules

CCIVR versions 10 and 11 (TDM) which are supported versions , can be used with all currently
supported OmniPCX Enterprise versions.
CCIVR version 10.0.0.1 : Is first CCIVR version compliant with W2008 SP2 32bits (32 bits only!) .
Starting with CCIVR release 10: New CCIVR license is required .
Starting with CCIVR release 11 : New CCIVR license is required .
2 versions of CCIVR R11.3: one for Windows 2008 Server R2 x64 ONLY and one for
Windows 2012 x64 or Windows 2012 R2 x64 .

Warning

From the Alcatel-Lucent Business Partner Web Site, you will find 2 different zip
files. One for each version related to the installed OS.
CCIVR R11 (11.0, 11.1, 11.2) for Windows 2008 Server R2 x64 ONLY. Dedicated
CCIVR R11 license required and it is not the same as license for previous
releases. License for previous CCIVR releases are not complaint with CCIVR R11 .
CCIVR R10.X for windows 2008 Server x32 ONLY .
DL 380 G8 : for Windows 2008 R2 x64 bits only ,CCIVR R11 x64 only .CG 6565e
(PCI-express) boards only .Dual processor system required in case of more than
60 ports are used (2xCG6565e boards) ,HP PCI riser required for such
configuration (part number : 661628-B21 HP DL380eGen8 PCIe x16 Riser Kit) .
DL 380 G9: for Windows 2012 Server x64 bits or Windows 2012 R2 x64, CCIVR
R11.3 x64 only.
CG6565e (PCI-express) boards only . Dual processor system
required in case of more than 60 ports are used (2xCG6565e boards) ,HP PCI
riser required for such configuration (part number : 725569-B21 HP DL380eGen9
PCI-Express riser card).

Warning

Starting with R9.X: Only issues reproduced on validated platforms can be analyzed by
Technical Support (You can use a system which has not been validated by Alcatel-Lucent .Technical
support will try to reproduce the same issue on Alcatel-Lucent validated system .If the issue is
reproduced on validated system ,Alcatel-Lucent will produce a fix .If the issue is not reproduced on
validated system : the concerned physical server is declared not compliant with the CCIVR platform
and the customer will have to buy a certified system .)

DL 380 G7 : Is not certified

Warning

The required RAM size depends of the ASR grammar complexity and number of words .Please

6 Important Information
1

Hewlett Packard ML350 G5 & DL 380 G6: Maximum amount of "AG2000 PCI-X NMS boards" is 2 (16
analog ports is the maximum).

Hewlett Packard ML350 G5: The Slot#1(133MHz) IS NOT USABLE. Use Slot#2,Slot#3.

WARNING: AG4000 is not supported with OmniPCX Enterprise common hardware (PCMR2).AG4040 has to be used in this case.

CCIVR >= 8.X . Custom DLL used in CallDLL BB: Please read Release Note Information.

In case of update from Windows 2003 to Windows 2008 ,please check that your custom
development is compliant with windows 2008 .

6 CCIVR 9.1.0.11/10/11 SIP : An NMS license is required .Take care to ask for it few days
before customer site installation ! .PCS is required for such deployments .
7 CCIVR 10 : For Windows 2008 EN SP2 32 bits Server only and Windows 7 (32 and 64 bits)
or Windows XP (32 bits) for the clients.
8 Starting with CCIVR 10 : AG4000 and AG4040 are NOT SUPPORTED .
9 Starting with CCIVR 11 : CG6565e board is supported ONLY . R11.0 to R11.3 for W2008 R2
64 bits and a R11.3 version also for W2012 64 bits.
10 New license is required for CCIVR R10 : Take care to ask for it before customer site
installation . Technical Support will not provide such license .This new license is
associated to the system hardware and CCIVR version. Valid SES contract is required.
