1200kwe Offshore Genset with SS316 Sound Proof Enclosure

This 1200kwe Offshore genset is protected
from the harsh offshore environment by an
impressive SS316L Sound Proof Enclosure.
It is powered by the Cummins QSK60
Marine Diesel Engine coupled to Leroy
Somer IP55 Alternator. The Fire Damper
(also in SS316) shuts down upon the
activation of the genset's CO2 Fire Fighting
System. The genset is controlled by Full
Zone 2 Electrical Control and
Instrumentation. The starting system is via Electric and Hydraulic Starting. It
even has its own built in 7,000L Fuel Tank!

CAT 3508 - Zone 2

This CAT Industrial 3508, rated 1000bp at
1800rpm has been rebuilt to water cooled
exhaust manifold, turbo housing, 3161
mechanical governor to accommodate the
requirements of ATEX Directive 94/9/EC.
The cooling system has also been oversized
to meet the working ambient temperature
of 50 deg C.

 50KVA Zone 2 Genset with DNV 2.7-1 Frame

The transportable genset 50kva genset for
Shell Brunei is self contained requiring no
external source to power up. It is equipped
with multi voltage output with Ex rated
sockets and receptacles. Caged within a
DNV 2.7-1 lifting frame and offshore paint
specifications, it is suitable for any rough
sea condition.

East Asia Power is the first to employ

the MTU P83 4000 Series to develop
the EAMX-MTU Series rated at
1500kWe@60hz. This emergency
generator uses MTUs ADEC electronic
engine management system which is
self monitoring and diagnosis; Power is
generated through AVK alternator of
insulation rating of IP54, dual bearing
design customized to suit BPs
stringent specifications.
