1. Project Overview
1.1 Business Background
Nowadays, more and more people use mobile phone instead of
computer to scan the web page, and if we use web to check
information, its easy to find that the font is too small and the operation
is inconvenient. So, we can build a mobile app to simplify the previous
web page and make the main information more clearly. In addition, this
mobile app can improve the opening speed compared with inputting
address of a web page. Users can use MyCUHK system much easier and
faster.

1.2 Objective
Develop a new mobile app of MyCUHK to help students and teachers in
CUHK search the most important links based on the web page of
MyCUHK more easily and effectively. The app will include several
templates and tools that users can check out class schedule, webmail,
workshop, complete course enrollment, and a new template of users
feedback, where users can post suggestions about our app from user
experience. The app will be accessible free to the public.

6. Assumptions

All team members except project manager involved in the project

are full-time working on the project within his/her responsible
period. After the responsible period, he/she may release to handle
other tasks.
Project manager needs to involve throughout the project lifecycle.
Since he no need to focus on specified task, assume he is 50%
involved in the project, which is reflected in the budget plan.
No extra fee needed to promote the APP on any website in CUHK
/ MY CUHK.
Offices are already settled and related fee not included in project
budget. All team members are physical closed to each other. No
extra fee needed for transportation and traveling.
