1.0) General
-----------HIT is a test script driver used to execute and automate
DX200 integration, release and system tests and software
upgrade procedures.
The main features of the HIT include
capability to send MML and other commands to the exchange
or other target device,
capability to receive and analyse target device s response and
capability to influence script execution with control statements.

1.1) New features in HIT 2.9-0

SSH client functionality added to HIT tool.
- GUI changes
- HIT systemfunction changes (SSH support)
- PLink and SFTP integration
The SSH Client application to be used with HIT tool is PuTTy.

It provides all needed functionalities (SSH, SCP, SFTP, command line interface)
to implement SSH support to HIT.
Bug Fixes:
TOFE 159102: Command line spell check for batched list would be more benefitial
for testing
TOFE 26215: HIT SWUP release
TOFE 166702: Unterminated string constant

1.2) Known Faults

- long commands are truncated, when HIT is used on
Win 95 system, in additon to truncated command HIT
attempts to resend the command. Problem does not occur
on NT-workstations.
- strscan-function does handle values over 32bit with %d-specifier

2.0) Supported environments

--------------------------HIT 2.9-0 release has been tested on Windows 2000/XP.
3.0) LIST OPTIONS
----------------HIT CASE LIST OPTIONS MAY NEVER BE USED WITH LIVE DX200 NETWORK
ELEMENTS, BECAUSE THEY TURN ON TESTING FEATURES THAT GENERATE
EXTRA LOAD TO THE EXHANGE COMPUTER UNITS AND MODIFY
THE EXHANGE SYSTEM CLOCK !!!!!!!
In the HIT release for the Customer Toolpackage the caselist
options have been turned off, for safety reasons. There should
be no "Options/Case Lists" selection available in the options menu.
4.0) Feedback and failure reports
--------------------------------Failure reports are submitted as failure reports related to
other Nokia products.
