REQUIREMENTS
Requirements for Grading
A. Periodical Examinations (Prelim/Midterm/Final)-25%
There are three sets of exams, preliminary, mid-term, and final. Exams will be comprehensive. Most exams answers can be found in the course modules. However,
anything presented or discussed in the classroom or in lab sessions may be used to formulate test questions. Test may be given as schedule. Students should be prepared
by ensuring they have studied and read the required reference. Exams not taken at the scheduled time will be given a special exam provided that he or she has a valid
reason. The student is responsible for making arrangements with the instructor to make-up the missed exam. Failure to take one of the exams will be given a grade of
INC.Checked and recorded examination results shall be returned to the students.
B. Activities-35%
Topical Oral Reports/Performance Test- 15%

The student is required to conduct topical oral reports as stipulated in the syllabus. Rubrics or rating sheets are provided to guide students in the development of
each presentation. Results of performance will be incorporated under this heading. Performance of students will be evaluated using rubrics or rating sheets. A
learning contract is an option of a student to be agreed with the teacher under this heading.
Written Reports/Projects/Term Papers/Case Studies-20%

The student is required to pass written topical reports consistent with the oral reports conducted by the student. However, a student may have the option to
submit either a project or a term paper to be agreed both by the teacher and student; This will serve as the final requirement the student has to submit to
facilitate computation of grade. A reflection paper through a field trip may also be conducted to serve as another option of the students to enhanced learning.
C. Quizzes and Assignments -20%
The student will be given short quizzes and units tests as part of the evaluation of learning as instruction progresses from one unit to the next. Quizzes must be taken
from the one who conducted the report. No special quiz will be arranged for those who are excused or absent with/without excuse letter. Checked and recorded quiz

and unit test results shall be returned to the students.

D. Class Participation, Attendance and Attitude-20%
Students not in classes cannot learn effectively. Lack of attendance results with negative impact on any student that be associated with course completion. An 80% of
attendance in the whole semester is required for a student. Participation in the class is encouraged for a student to earn points. Students are not allowed to enter
without
wearing the complete prescribed uniform and ID. All students are required to sign the Attendance Sheet every session. There is no signing of Attendance Sheet Anymore
after fifteen minutes from the start of the session. Student is considered absent and will be marked ABSENT on the attendance sheet.
To pass the subject he/she should have an Average Grade of 75%. Grade Computation: SCORE/Total Items x 50 + 50.
