What is Gods selection criteria?

Were these men without sin?
What was the difference between Judas and the rest of the disciples?
How does God work with us to win souls?
Summary: This lesson shows me that anyone can be Christs disciple with the right spirit. We all can do
work to spread the gospel. Whether that is preaching, teaching, greeting at the door of the church,
preparing food, running cameras, doing bible studies, etc. All of these things help spread the gospel,
even if we are not visible to all.

Why was waiting for the Spirit necessary?

How does God teach us patience?
There are three things that jump out at me in these passages:

Asking - Indirect
Listening - Direct
Waiting - Direct

How do you know when God is telling you to do something? Or answering you?
To me prayer is the answer to all of these items:

We need to ask in prayer

We need to listen in prayer
We need to wait for answer in prayer

Without these we cant go forward. (The next lesson days cant happen without this.)
How can our anxious spirits be calmed to wait patiently for the Spirits leading?
What practical things should we do to cultivate patience?

Do we really believe we have this authority?

Laborers for the Harvest

Why are there so few laborers for the harvest?

What needs to be done to get more labors?
The early Adventist church did things a bit differently than we do now. Pastors did the evangelism and
elders and church members did the preaching. (To some degree we do that in this church.)
How can we find the right balance between ministering to the outside world and those within the
church?

What are the differences between these two parables?

Who are the lost?
The lost:
From the time of Adam, those that have turned away from God
Those that have left the church or the Christian family
Those that are in the church physically, but are looking for answers
Side Note: The Fridays lesson, seems a bit strange to me. I think of John the Baptist and Jesus at certain
times. They we very blunt at times.
