The C ourt, having reviewed the Stipul ation to Amend Supplemental/Permanent


Injunction/Judgment Order (Doc. 747) and good cause appearing,
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Stipulation is granted as follows:

Injunction/Judgment Order (Doc. 606) is amended as follows:

stops, and shall comm ence regular operati on and maintenance of such vide o and

audio recording equi pment. MCSO shall prioritiz

equipment Specialized Units that enforce I mmigration-Related Laws, and S uch

installation issuance must be complete w ithin 120 da ys of the appr oval of the

policies and proce dures for the operation, maintenance, and data storage for such

equip all t raffic patrol ve hicles that make traffic stops wi th video and a udio
recording e quipment w ithin 2 years of the Effectiv e Date. Subject to Maricopa

County code and the State of Ar izonas procurement law, the Court shall choose

the ve ndor for the vi deo a nd audio rec ording equipm ent if the Parties and the

Monitor cannot agree on one.

the District Court, to govern proper us e of the on-person cameras; accounta bility

measures to ensure comp liance with the C ourts orde rs, including m andatory
activation of vide o c ameras for traffic st ops; review of t he ca mera recordings;
responses to public records requests in accordance with the Order and governing
law; and pr ivacy protections. The MCS O shall subm it such proposed policy for
review by the Monitor and

Plaintiffs counsel within

60 days of the

C ourts

issuance of an order appr oving the use of on-body cameras as set forth in this
stipulation. The MCSO shall submit a request for funding to the Maricopa County
Board of S upervisors within 45 days of the approval by the C ourt or the Monitor
of such policy and the equipment and vendor(s) for such on-body cameras.
