The Grand Chapter, Royal Arch Masons of Ohio, will celebrate their 200th Anniversary this year with plans to Celebrate God, our
families, our communities, Masonry in general, but more specifically Royal Arch Masonry. New Carlisle Chapter plans to be a part of this
year-long (2015-2016) celebration. We have had a long and distinguished history. We were chartered and came into existence just 39 years
after the Grand Chapter organized and will celebrate our 162nd anniversary this year. New Carlisle Chapter has adopted for their theme,
Celebrate-Make it Happen. Our goal is to encourage former members of our chapter, who became disinterested, for whatever reason,
and chose to demit from membership, to consider affiliating with the chapter once again by simply paying the current years dues ($35.00)
and restoring themselves to full membership. We have also established a goal to exalt at least 8 new Brethren to the Sublime Degree of
Royal Arch Mason. We are well on our way to reaching this goal as we have, to date, petitions for three new members. We believe these
goals are not only achievable but are absolutely necessary for the continued well-being of Freemasonry in New Carlisle. Chapter Masonry
stands for the key to Masonic Knowledge and understanding. It unlocks the symbolism of Symbolic Lodge Masonry, and shows the
craftsman that by honestly working for his fellow men, he himself will profit. It is no secret that all of Masonry has suffered greatly over
the past half century. We can reverse this trend if we adopt a positive vision and then just Make it happen. The choice is up to us. We
can allow our Chapter to cease to exist, or we can become proactive, do a little hard work, and make the core of New Carlisle Chapter
healthy and vibrant once again. We invite all members to attend chapter meetings and become active members and help in achieving our
endeavors. Our first meeting of the New Year is Tuesday, September 15 at 7:00 p. m.
