A-Plus MedBooster and A-Plus MedBoosteri are optional add-on plans that can be attached to ALife Med Regular and A-Life Med Regular-i, respectively.
Key features:

Three different types of plans are available: Plan 150, Plan 200 and Plan 250.
The type of plan opted for A-Plus MedBooster and A-Plus MedBooster-i must correspond with
the type of plan chosen for A-Life Med Regular and A-Life Med Regular-i.
The Deductible Amount differs by plan type.

APPENDIX I
A-Plus MedBooster / A-Plus MedBooster-i
Description
A-Plus MedBooster / A-Plus MedBooster-i is an optional premium/contribution paying rider attachable to
A-Life Med Regular / A-Life Med Regular-i, respectively. It covers hospitalisation and surgical expenses
up to age 100. A-Plus MedBooster/A-Plus MedBooster-i boosts the benefits of A-Life Med Regular / ALife Med Regular-i and serves as an additional layer of medical coverage on top of A-Life Med Regular /
A-Life Med Regular-i.
The type of plan opted for A-Plus MedBooster / A-Plus MedBooster-i shall be the same as the type of
plan chosen for A-Life Med Regular / A-Life Med Regular-i. Upon upgrading or downgrading of A-Life
Med Regular / A-Life Med Regular-i, A-Plus MedBooster / A-Plus MedBooster-i shall be downgraded or
upgraded accordingly based on the Plan type chosen for A-Life Med Regular / A-Life Med Regular-i.

3. A-Plus MedBooster / A-Plus MedBooster-i comes with Deductible Amount that differs by plan type.
The Deductible Amount is equivalent to the total initial Annual Limit of A-Life Med Regular / A-Life
Med Regular-i. Any eligible claim amount in excess of the Deductible Amount shall be payable under
A-Plus MedBooster / A-Plus MedBooster-i. The Deductible Amount shall applicable to items 1 and 3
18 only as stated in the Schedule of Benefits.
4. A-Plus MedBooster / A-Plus MedBooster-i provides high Annual Limit, which is 10 times of the initial
Annual Limit of A-Life Med Regular / A-Life Med Regular-i, up to a maximum of RM 1,500,000.
5. Hospital Room and Board shall increase by 20% of the initial Room and Board limit upon completion
of every 2 policy/certificate years for a period of 10 policy years, provided there is no claim for the
immediate preceding 2 policy/certificate years.
6. A-Plus MedBooster / A-Plus MedBooster-i also provide high Lifetime Limit for Out-patient Kidney
Dialysis and Cancer Treatment, which is 2 times of the similar benefit offered by A-Life Med
Regular/A-Life Med Regular-i.
7. In the event of Dengue Fever, A-Plus MedBooster / A-Plus MedBooster-i shall reimburse the Outpatient Dengue Fever treatment expenses, if the treatment for Dengue Fever is performed at the OutPatient department of a Hospital or a Clinic.
8. A-Plus MedBooster / A-Plus MedBooster-i shall share the same medical card with A-Life Med
Regular / A-Life Med Regular-i.
9. A-Plus MedBooster / A-Plus MedBooster-i can be extended to insured/person covereds immediate
family members in one plan. The plan type of A-Plus MedBooster / A-Plus MedBooster-i shall be the
same as the plan type of A-Life Med Regular / A-Life Med Regular-i.

(a) For item 1 and 3 to 18, AIA Bhd./AIA PUBLIC Takaful Bhd. shall cover the balance of the eligible
expenses in excess of the Deductible Amount; and
(b) For item 2 and 19 to 22, AIA Bhd./AIA PUBLIC Takaful Bhd. shall pay the benefit as stated in the
Schedule of Benefits above without subject to any Deductible Amount.
Note: The Just Swipe facility of the medical card is not available for the first 3 months from the
policy/certificate in-force when purchase/participate in A-Life Med Regular / A-Life Med Regular-i together
with A-Plus MedBooster / A-Plus MedBooster-i. In the event that an Insured/Person Covered is
hospitalised during this period, he or she will have to settle their medical expenses first and submit their
claim to the company for reimbursement later.
