Standard Operating Procedure

AME 1012 – Dust Suppressant

Dilution Rate
1 Liter AME-1012 into 40 Liter water, applied for approx. 5 MT coal.

Required Equipment
- Mixing Tank, capacity of 5,000 – 10,000 Liter
- Pumping Unit, any acceptable brand with output 3-6 Bar
- Piping, diameter 1”, various pipe material can be used depend on client approval.
- Nozzle, depends on desired flow rate output.
Example:
 Treatment location: conveyor with loading rate 500 MT/hour.
 AME-1012 standard dosage: 1 Liter AME-1012 for 10 MT coal on dilution rate of 1:40.
 Required pumping unit flow rate : 600 x 40/10 = 2,000 liter/hour
 With maintaining pump pressure on 3 Bar, the nozzle type can be specifically defined
depends on how many nozzles can be installed suitably. 3 nozzles with 800 liter/hour
flow rate or 4 nozzles of 600 liter/hour flow rate can be used on this case.
 Daily usage base with assumption on 24 hours nonstop loading operation, 1,170.72 liter
of AME-1012 diluted into 46,829.28 liter of water will be required for this treatment.
48.78 liter of AME-1012 and 1,951.22 liter of water will be required on 1 hour
operation.

Personal Protection & Safety Precaution

- Read Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) before start operation
- Operator must use Safety Shoes, Goggles and Gloves

Dilution Procedure
- Use clean water (normal PH), avoid using sea water
- Fill the mixing tank with AME-1012 first following with water
- Start circulating procedure approx 5 minute
- Stop circulation process and prepare for spraying operation
