Laetitia Casta biography

Bio:
Laetitia was raised in Normandie and Corsica, France, in the middle of an animal-filled forest,
Laetitia has a down-home charm that's truly infectious. At the age of fifteen, Laetitia was
discovered while vacationing with her family on a beach in Corsica, "the island of beauty", in
France.
A modeling agent from the Madison Models' Agency approached her, and handed her father a
business card with an invitation to bring his daughter to Paris for some test shoots. Once her
father finally agreed to the agency taking some test photographs, her unmistakable potential was
recognized by the founder of Madison Models - despite the fact that the shoot occurred without
the aid of makeup and a designer wardroom which many models rely on to promote themselves.
Within weeks of her first shoots, she was walking the runway for Jean-Paul Gaultier. However,
her career did not begin to take off until the director of the French edition of Elle saw and was
impressed with Laetitia's looks.
Modeling contracts and appearances in magazines quickly ensued. Paul Marciano, founder and
art director of Guess? who is incidentally accredited for the success of Claudia Schiffer - was
taken by Casta's near perfection. Her work in the Guess ad (she became their new front Girl) was
her debut advertising campaign. Shot by Neil Kirk in Jamaica in October 1994. Thanks to
Marciano, Guess has brought her international exposure and recognition.
In addition to Rolling Stone, Casta has adorned the pages of many other magazines, including
the Italian edition of Glamour; Vogue; and Cosmopolitan. In 1998, she joined Kate Moss and
Jennifer Aniston in becoming a spokesperson for cosmetics company L'Oreal. Casta's
relationship with designer Yves St. Laurent has helped to promote her career. Since 1998 Casta's
public outfits have all been personal Yves St. Laurent creations.

Her appearance in the exclusive Pirelli calendar, considered a collector's item because it consists
of beautiful shots taken by the most prestigious photographers, is considered one of Casta's
accomplishments. In the 1999 issue, themed Women Through the Decades, Casta is featured as
representative of the 1950's woman.
She lives in Paris with her parents, older brother and younger sister. Laetitia enjoys car racing
with her friends, traveling, cooking with her mum and spending time with her younger sister.
Laetitia also has a brown belt in Judo, she feels that it helps her in her modeling career to have
control. To set limits for herself, to adopt a non-aggressive stance and to think with her mind not
her emotions.
Laetitia became a French national obsession when she was elected by all the French mayors to be
the representation of Marianne's effigy, the French Republic symbol. Known for her great sense
of humor and a good head on her shoulders, Laetitia can look forward to a bright future.

Tyra Banks biography

Bio:
Prior to graduating from Immaculate Heart High School in 1991, she wanted to give modeling a
try. She applied and was accepted at Loyola Marymount University, that Elite modeling agency
gave the 17-year-old, her first modeling job. Afterwards, she had been rejected many times for
modeling assignments, which led her to drop out of college so quickly.
Within Banks's first week in Paris, other designers were so entranced by her presence on the
runway that she was booked for an unprecedented 25 shows--a record in the business for a
newcomer. She has done extensive print and/or runway work for fashion/advertising giants such
as Anna Sui, Coors Light, CoverGirl, Badgley Mischka, Bill Blass, Cynthia Rowley, Christian
Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Donna Karan, Gemma Kahng, H&M, Isaac Mizrahi, Maria Snyder,
McDonald's, Michael Kors, Milk, Nicole Miller, Nike, Inc., Oscar de la Renta, Pepsi, Perry Ellis,
Randy Kemper, Richard Tyler, Rifat Ozbek, Swatch, Todd Oldham, Tommy Hilfiger, Victoria's
Secret, XOXO, and Yves Saint Laurent. She has appeared on the covers of such magazines as
Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, and Elle. Banks was the first African American woman
on the covers of GQ and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. In 1997, she received the Michael
Award for Supermodel of the Year. Also in '97, she was chosen for the cover of the Victoria's

Secret catalog, making her the first African American to be so honored. Banks retired from
modeling in May 2005 to concentrate on her television show. She walked the runway for the
final time at the 2005 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. On numerous occasions, she has been
sought after to appear in Playboy magazine; however, she has turned each request down.
Banks' television career began on the fourth season of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, in which she
played lead character Will's ex-girlfriend Jackie Ames, and made eight appearances throughout
the series. Other screen credits include Felicity, MADtv, Nick Cannon's Wild 'N Out (in which
she was featured as special guest host and team captain), and The Price Is Right (guest-starring
as a Barker's Beauty).
Currently, Banks can be seen on television as the hostess, head judge, and executive producer of
the UPN (now the CW) television show America's Next Top Model. In addition, she does double
duty as the host of The Tyra Banks Show, a daytime talk show which premiered on September
12, 2005 and recently began its second season, drawing over 1.9 million viewers an episode. The
show features stories about everyday people mixed in with celebrity interviews, much like the
early format of The Oprah Winfrey Show. Under the slogan "Every woman has a story...and it
happened to Tyra too", Banks promotes her show using emotional flashbacks to her own
childhood and adolescence. Many of the episodes deal with issues facing women today.
On the big screen, Banks has had minor roles in a few movies. Her first big screen role came in
1995 when she co-starred in the critically acclaimed drama Higher Learning. She went on to costar with Lindsay Lohan in the Disney film Life-Size, playing a doll named Eve who comes to
life. Other notable roles include 1999's Love Stinks, 2000's Coyote Ugly, and 2002's Halloween:
Resurrection.
In personal life she has previously been linked romantically to musical artist Seal, NBA players
Rick Fox and Chris Webber, hockey player Mark Messier, and director John Singleton. She has
said repeatedly that she has no plans on dating or getting married any time soon. Currently, she is
enjoying the single life and has recently moved to New York City where she focuses on both of
her TV shows.

Cindy Crawford biography

Bio:
Cynthia Ann Crawford was born February 20, 1966, in De Kalb, Illinois. She
was discovered by chance by a newspaper photographer, who noticed then 16year old Cindy at work during her summer job of detasselling corn and took her
a picture of her. The photo and the positive feedback surrounding Cindy's
photogenic talents were enough to convince her to quit her day job and take up
modelling.
Thanks to two summers of modelling, represented by Elite Model Management
in Chicago, the All-American beauty proved to also have brains -- she traded in
the glamorous life a model (at least temporarily) to study chemical engineering
at Northwestern University, on scholarship.
During the 1980s and 1990s, Cindy was among the most popular supermodels, a
ubiquitous presence on magazine covers, runways, and in fashion campaigns. In
July, 1988, she became the first modern supermodel to pose nude for Playboy
magazine, in a shoot by photographer Herb Ritts. In October, 1998 Crawford
returned to the pages of Playboy for a second, more revealing nude pictorial.
That issue was one of the magazine's all-time biggest sellers.
From 1989 to 1995, Crawford was host of MTV's House of Style. In the mid1990s Crawford starred in famous Pepsi and Pepsi Stuff advertising. In 1995
Crawford took her first movie role in Fair Game. Her performance was panned
by critics, and the film was a financial failure, with expenses of $50 million and
$11 million takings at the box office. She has had several other minor acting jobs
since then, none of which have been commercially or critically successful. The
closest she has come to a commercially successful acting job has been her series
of exercise videos.

facebook

She has been featured on the cover of many magazines, including Vogue, W,
People, Harper's Bazaar, ELLE, Cosmopolitan, and Allure. Cindy also appeared
in many fashion campaigns during her career, including those for Gianni
Versace, Escada, Revlon, Ink. She has also worked for Omega, Maybelline, and
Clairol. Of her, famous designer Karl Lagerfeld has said: "She is a classical
beauty and the all-American dream girl." She was nicknamed "Baby Gia" when
she entered the modeling industry because of her resemblance to the late
supermodel, Gia Carangi.
In 2005, Cindy created a beauty product with Dr. Jean-Louis Sebagh called
Meaningful Beauty for Guthy-Renker.

Kate Moss biography

Bio:
Katherine Moss, who has become one of the most recognized and highest paid supermodels of
the '90s, was born in Croydon, Surrey, England, on January 16, 1974. She was discovered at the
age of 14 by Sarah Doukas (the founder of Storm Model Management) in 1988, at JFK Airport in

New York City, after a vacation in the Bahamas.

Moss's career began when Corinne Day shot black and white photographs of her for British
magazine The Face when she was 15, in a photo shoot titled "The Third Summer of Love". After
that, Kate was on her way to becoming the latest "It" girl, whose face and body would show up
everywhere.
If someone could possibly not recognize Kate Moss from the slew of magazine covers she has
graced, they surely would from all the advertisements she has appeared in. Kate practically
became a staple in Calvin Klein ads, such as those for fragrances like Obsession, CK Be and CK
One. The man behind these controversial ads, Calvin Klein, can be credited with launching Kate
Moss' career in the early '90s. In addition to Calvin Klein ads, she has also appeared in ads for
Burberry, Cerruti 1881, Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, L'Oreal, and Yves Saint Laurent.
Kate has also strutted her stuff on the catwalks for such big-name designers as Calvin Klein,
Chanel and Versace.
Moss also made her way onto the small and big screens. She appeared as herself in several
episodes of the British comedy series French and Saunders in 1996, as well as in movies like
Isaac Mizrahi's Unzipped (1995), Catwalk (1996), Beautopia (1998), and Original Copies
(1999). In 1999, she appeared as Maid Marian/Queen Marian in Blackadder Back & Forth
On May 1, 2007 a collection of clothes, designed by Moss exclusively for the Topshop chain,
were launched across the UK in the chain's 225 stores. A Kate Moss "countdown to launch"
board filled a window of the company's flagship Oxford Street store and on April 30, Moss
launched the clothing line at Topshop in Oxford Street, where she briefly appeared in the shop
window modelling a red dress from the clothing collection just before the shop was opened,
causing a media frenzy.

Gisele Bundchen biography

Bio:
She's been hailed by ROLLING STONE Magazine as THE MOST BEAUTIFUL GIRL IN THE
WORLD and confirmed her status in December 1999 as the most wanted face in fashion, when
she was named VOGUE-VH1's MODEL OF THE YEAR.
Born on the 20th of July, 1980, in Horizontina, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, Gisele Caroline
Bundchen grew up closely tied to her five sisters.
The arrival of Gisele on the international fashion scene, in 1996, was seen by many in the
industry as the beginning of a new move away from the look-of-the-moment trend of harsh, edgy
images into a softer, sexier phase. Actually, VOGUE credited Gisele's work in the fashion
industry as 'The Return of the Sexy Model'.
The road to becoming today's most requested model came as mere chance for Gisele. Although
Gisele had set her sights on a career as a professional volleyball player or a veterinarian, she was
discovered by Brazilian model scouts at the age of 14 while eating a hamburger in a diner during
a school trip in Rio de Janiero.
Despite her father's disagreement with her career choice, Gisele moved to the city. Two years
later, she found herself in New York City.
Since her debut, she has been the face of a variety of advertising campaigns including several
seasons of Christian Dior, Balenciaga, Dolce & Gabbana, Missoni, Versace, Celine, Givenchy,
Bvlgari, Lanvin, Guerlain, Valentino, Ralph Lauren, Earl Jean, Zara, Chloe, Michael Kors, Louis
Vuitton, and Victoria's Secret. Bundchen is also the face of several Brazilian brands like Vivo,
Brazil's leading mobile company, Multiplan, Colcci and Credicard. After C&A Brazil hired her
and started their television commercials, sales increased by 30%.
In May 2006, Bundchen signed another multi-million dollar deal, this time with American giant

Apple Computer. She starred in an advertising campaign to promote the new Macintosh line
through the Get a Mac advertisements. She has her own line of sandals with shoes company
Grendene, called Ipanema Gisele Bundchen. Forbes puts her on 53rd of their list of the most
powerful celebrities of 2007 due to the success of her popular shoe line, Ipanema. Custom
Ipanema flip-flops sell for as much as $230 a pair. She is also the owner of a hotel in the south of
Brazil, the Palladium Executive.
On May 1, 2007 it was announced that Bundchen had ended her contract with Victoria's Secret.
The New York Post's Page Six reported that Bundchen had left Victoria's Secret because it
wouldn't raise her $5 million-a-year salary. In July 2007, earning an estimated total of $33
million in the past 12 months, Forbes magazine named her the world's top-earning model in the
list of the World's 15 Top-Earning Supermodels.

Claudia Schiffer biography

German model

Bio:
After she was spotted as a potential model in a disco at the age of just seventeen, she completed
her education by her mother's wishes and then began to work as a model. She flew out to Paris
for a trial photo shoot and soon after she appeared in the cover of French ELLE after being well
received in Paris. After several other magazine appearances she quickly achieved supermodel
status when she was selected by Karl Lagerfeld to become the new face of Chanel. Schiffer
continued to become a world-famous supermodel, becoming instantly recognizable with her blue
eyes, blond hair and tall figure.
In the early 1990s she starred in highly publicised Guess? jeans adverts in North America which
created essential publicity for Schiffer. Soon after appearing in the campaigns, her name was
launched worldwide, appearing on five magazine covers in the United States and seven covers
around Europe. Her modelling career continued to grow and she was contracted to model for
Revlon. She also became deeply involved in modelling for several catalogues and modelled on
high profile catwalk shows. Schiffer has done catwalk modelling for Versace, Jil Sander, Dolce
& Gabbana, Ralph Lauren and Valentino. Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone, the New York Times and
People all saw Schiffer as the first model to make their covers. She has also appeared many times
on covers of Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Cosmopolitan and Time.
Schiffer has also been the face of Mango, a chain of Spanish clothes stores and Accessorize,
where she had her ears pierced especially for her Autumn/Winter 2006 Accessorize advertising
campaign in 2006. Schiffer still holds a contract with L'Oreal and Ebel watches, and her
billboard picture for Kenar has also hung over millions of tourists at Time Square. Since 1990,
she has created a swimsuit calendar each year which she stars in and designs herself.
Her career continued to develop when she secured contracts with Pepsi appearing in
advertisements promoting the brand, and has also danced with a cartoon version of Mickey
Mouse in advertisements promoting Fanta for an estimated $2 million. She appeared nude in a
1998 Citroen advertisement, securing her a reputed ?3 million. However from behind the car
only her feet and shoulders upward could be seen and she did not know how to drive at the time.
Karl Lagerfeld recently filmed her for a Dom Perignon campaign, some ten years after her first
appearances in Chanel adverts.

Karolina Kurkova biography

Bio:
Born in the town of Decin, Czechoslovakia (now the Czech Republic) on February 28th, 1984,
Karolina Kurkova had a slight taste of what celebrity would be like, as her father Josef Kurka
was a star basketball player. As a child, her height made her relatively awkward and gangly, but
that would all change with age.
A close friend recognized her beauty and sent photos of Kurkova to an agency in Prague.
Kurkova immediately landed a runway appearance, not to mention a commercial and print ad.
Still, being a model in the Czech Republic did not expose her to what fashion was really about,
so Kurkova took a chance and traveled to Milan to gain some more experience.
There, Miuccia Prada (the designer behind the famous brand name) signed her to a contract that
proved to be the beginning of her stellar career. On September 7th, 1999, Kurkova's hard work as
a 15-year-old model culminated in a meeting with some Vogue editors in New York. She
impressed them immediately and the execs began to slowly groom her for success.
A move to the Big Apple and hectic work schedule ensued. It all paid off when Kurkova finally

made her presence known in the February 2001 issue of Vogue. One of the youngest models ever
to grace its cover, the magazine helped propel her to stardom. She was now recognized at haute
couture fashion shows and Victoria's Secret

Elle MacPherson biography

Bio:
Eleanor Gow was born March 29, 1964, in Sydney, Australia. Elle's original plan was to study
pre-law at Sydney University, but when the 18-year old, 6-foot beauty was discovered in Aspen,
Colorado, she was immediately signed to the Click modeling agency.
She soon became a staple of Elle magazine, posing for the magazine for 6 years. While her talent
as a model was undeniable, her marriage to the fashion magazine's creative director, Gilles
Bensimon, further secured her relationship with the magazine.
She ventured into the world of exercise videos, motivating and teaching people how to stay fit to
hopefully end up with a body like hers (probably something every woman would love). She
showed off her body on the cover of the much coveted Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition in
1994, with models Kathy Ireland and Rachel Hunter.
Already having achieved supermodel status, Elle knew that the glamorous modeling industry has
high turnover so she set her sights on other projects. Since the crossover from modeling to acting

is a popular and usually successful one, Elle decided to perform in front of film cameras as well
as fashion photographers. She first appeared on the silver screen in the 1990 Woody Allen film
Alice (the spectacled director personally picked her for the part), but the part required nothing
more than a "walk-by."
Still, that was a start, and in 1994, "The Body" was required to gain 20 pounds for her meatier
role in Sirens, co-staring Hugh Grant. In 1996 she appeared in a remake of Jane Eyre and starred
opposite Ben Stiller in the comedy, If Lucy Fell. That year she also appeared in The Mirror Has
To Faces, with Barbra Streisand and Jeff Bridges.
Wanting to branch out into other industries, Elle used her business skills to become chair of a
line of lingerie called, Elle Macpherson Intimates. Based in Australia, the company has grown
into a multimillion-dollar enterprise. Elle is also associated with Montgomery Ward, a clothing
line ranging from sportswear to intimates.
Finding time somewhere between all these projects, Elle joined fellow supermodels Claudia
Schiffer and Naomi Campbell in developing the theme restaurant, the Fashion Cafe.
Signed with Miramax, the leggy model/actress was the object of Batman's affection in 1997's
Batman & Robin, and co-starred with Anthony Hopkins and Alec Baldwin in The Edge.
Elle was recently seen last season on the sitcom Friends, in the recurring role of Joey's new
roommate.
As for Elle's personal life, she and Gilles Bensimon got divorced, and Elle has since had two exfiances, Eric Miller and Tim Jeffries, and has dated Sean Penn. She is now with her long-time
companion, Swiss financier Arpade "Arki" Busson, the father of her son Flynn.

Linda Evangelista biography

Bio:
Evangelista was born to Italian parents and was raised in a working-class, traditional Catholic
family in St. Catharines, Ontario. She knew she wanted to become a model when she was 12
years old. Evangelista got into the modeling industry when she was discovered by a talent agent
at the 1978 Miss Teen Niagara Contest.
Evangelista later moved to New York City and signed with Elite Model Management there. She
then moved to Paris, to further her career. She also appeared in music videos with George

Michael.
Along with Christy Turlington, Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford and Naomi Campbell, Linda is
regarded as one of the few, true supermodels that changed the face of fashion in the late 1980s
and early 1990s. The triumvirate of model friends that comprises Linda Evangelista, Naomi
Campbell and Christy Turlington was affectionately dubbed "The Trinity" and is commonly
credited as responsible for sparking supermodel mania. The Trinity pushed for better wages for
models and for better projects and subsequently Evangelista was called the founder of the
supermodel "union".
Evangelista uttered the quote, "We don't wake up for less than $10,000 a day" (often misquoted
as: "We don't get out of bed for less than..." or "I don't get out of bed for less than...") Spoken in
Vogue (1990) to Jonathan Van Meyer, talking about money and how she and a few other models
were calling the shots and changing the game.
In the late 1980s, she cut all her hair off to brandish a little-boy style haircut and was promptly
cancelled from all the important runway shows that season. This was the first of her many, many
dramatic hairstyle changes. Within months, she appeared on magazine covers everywhere and
many women emulated the hairstyle.

Natalia Vodianova biography

Bio:
Natalia Vodianova is a Russian model. Since bursting into the spotlight in 2001, She has
campaigned for Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Calvin Klein, Euphoria, Gucci and Miss Sixty. Her
Cinderella story of going from poverty into modeling glamour has also created great buzz about
her.
Natalia Vodianova was born on February 28, 1982, in Gorky, Russia. She lived with her mother
and two half-sisters under meager and tough conditions. The poor lifestyle was a result of Soviet
Union's road to collapse and its aftermath. The political and economic conditions took a harsh
toll on Natalia's family, as she had to start working at the age of eleven. Natalia and her family
sustained eachother with a fruit stall business.
At age 15, Vodianova enrolled in a modeling academy, where she learned ladylike behavior and
etiquette. Fortunately, she also went to casting opportunities, and one day, she caught the eye of a
scouting agent from Paris. He told her that a great future was in store for her; all she had to do
was learn English in three months.
Convinced that her life could change for the better, Vodianova did just that. At 17, she moved to
Paris to try her hand at modeling. Delighted to work, she was a dream client for the Viva agency
and was an inspired woman. Though her salary was small at her first, it was still much more than
what she was earning in her native Russia.
When she was 19 years old, she made much headway in modeling but still had not made it big.
For some time, she was distracted however, after falling in love and marrying British real-estate
heir Justin Portman. She gave birth to son Lucas before the lavish wedding in St. Petersburg, and
for an instant, her career looked bleak. Fortunately, these distractions did not sway her: she
roamed the runways for several fall collections and astounded so many that she headlined the
Yves Saint Laurent show that same year.
Soon, Vodianova's phone was ringing off the hook. Gucci made her the new face for their
perfume line after she had more than 40 runway shows under her belt, and then Calvin Klein

called to hire her for their big Spring show. She was officially the hot new face in town and even
made a brief appearance in Roman Coppola's film CQ with Billy Zane and Gerard Depardieu.
Now, with campaigns for Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs and Miss Sixty to her name, Vodianova is a
true supermodel. She has done it all, from Vogue covers to big-name fashion shows. The media
loves her not only for her "real" look, but because her story is so inspiring. Living in New York
with her husband and son, Vodianova is already poised to take over the whole modeling world
with her charm and sex appeal. In July 2007, Vodianova was featured the cover of American
Vogue as the solo subject, a considerable feat during an era that relies heavily on celebrity cover
subjects to push sales. She first appeared on the cover along with eight other top models in
September 2005. The only other models to have singularly graced the cover of US Vogue in
between those two issues have been Linda Evangelista and Liya Kebede.
According to Forbes, Vodianova is ranked as the seventh highest-earning model in the world
after Carolyn Murphy, Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, Heidi Klum, Kate Moss and Gisele
Bundchen. Her earnings for the past year were in the order of $4.5 million.

Carolyn Murphy biography

Bio:
Murphy was born in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and grew up throughout Northwest Florida,
spending most of her childhood in a trailer park there. At the age of 15, she was spotted by Mary
Lou Nash, owner and operator of Mary Lou's Models, a modeling agency. Nash saw Murphy's
potential and soon she was modeling in local ads and magazines throughout Florida and
Alabama. After she graduated from Choctawhatchee Senior High School, Murphy moved to
Milan to further her modeling career. Her career kicked into high-gear when she bleached her
hair platinum blonde for a photo shoot, ruining her hair and causing it to fall out. Because of this
she had to get a short hair cut which made her popular with many top photographers and soon
she was in major magazines such as Harper's Bazaar and Vogue and was named VH1/Vogue's
"Model of the Year" at the 1998 Fashion Awards. Murphy is featured on the cover of the 2005
Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, as well as the 1999 cover of Vogue's "Models of the
Millennium." She has also posed for the 2002 Playboy calendar. She is currently the face of
Estee Lauder, replacing Elizabeth Hurley as the company's primary female spokesmodel. She
also started an acting career with the role of "Dubbie the Blonde" in Barry Levinson's Liberty
Heights in 1999. She also attended St. Mary's Catholic school in Fort Walton Beach, Florida
from kindergarten to 8th grade.

She previously dated model Mark Vanderloo. In 1999, Murphy married surf shop owner Jake
Schroeder, whom she met while on vacation. She gave birth to their daughter, Dylan Blue, on
December 28, 2000, and the three posed for Vogue as Kurt Cobain, Courtney Love, and Frances
Bean Cobain. Murphy and Schroeder split in 2002. Since then she has dated Incubus frontman,
Brandon Boyd. The couple reportedly split in August 2005 after it was reported that Boyd spent
too much time touring with his band.

Amber Valletta biography

Bio:
Valletta was born in Phoenix, Arizona. Shortly after her birth, her family moved to Tulsa,
Oklahoma. She attended Booker T. Washington High School. She got her start in the fashion
industry when her mother enrolled her in modeling school at the age of fifteen at the Linda
Layman Agency. Initially, she did runway work at a local mall on Saturdays. However, her big
break came after she cut short her hair and went to Europe.
A local agency sent the now 5'9" brunette to Milan where her first shoot was posing for Italian
Vogue. Soon after that, Amber got her first big break; the cover shoot for French Elle magazine
by Hans Feurer. Not too long after that, Amber, like most models began residing in Paris. Amber
immediately became a modeling sensation, having picked up where fellow supermodels Cindy
Crawford and Claudia Schiffer had left off. Photographers and magazines alike couldn't get
Amber's face pasted on billboards and magazine covers fast enough.
Amber has since appeared in numerous prestigious advertising campaigns such as Versace,
Calvin Klein's Escape, DKNY, Prada, Valentino, Jil Sander, Gucci and Chanel. She co-hosted
MTV's House of Style with best friend and fellow model Shalom Harlow and she even became
the face of Elizabeth Arden.
Although she didn't end up becoming the sociologist she wanted to be, Amber does use her
position as a celebrity to support various charity events. In 1995, she organized a charity called
Supermodels Stepping Out Against Hunger, a fashion show that took place in her hometown to
benefit the Tulsa Community Food Bank.
Valletta has gone on to act in several films, been on the cover of magazines and in
advertisements for Louis Vuitton, Calvin Klein and Versace and hosted MTV's House of Style
with friend and fellow supermodel Shalom Harlow. Valletta was scheduled to appear on Punk'd
on Season 6 Episode 3, along with David Boreanaz and Kristin Cavallari, but Kutcher had to
move the prank played on Valletta to an episode later to make room for the prank played on
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Terrell Owens, which is based on his suspension on November
19, 2005, while playing for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Travis Fimmel biography

Bio:
Fimmel grew up on a farm outside of Echuca, Victoria, Australia, as the youngest of three
brothers. At the age of eighteen, Fimmel moved to Melbourne, Victoria to play football and study
project management at RMIT University. However, his football career was cut short by a broken
leg. He began modelling in 1998, when Fimmel was approached in a Melbourne gym by
Matthew Anderson, a booker from Chadwick Model Management, with an offer to join the
agency. Fimmel later rose to prominence as the star of Calvin Klein's "Crave" advertising
campaign and playing the title role in The WB network's failed television series Tarzan. First
male model to sign a six figure deal to represent Calvin Klein exclusively.
An avid barefooter, Fimmel claims to go barefoot almost exclusively. He made an infamous
barefoot appearance on the The Sharon Osbourne Show and is often seen and photographed in
bare feet, or at most, wearing flip flops.
Fimmel has also appeared in two music videos, for "I'm Real" by Jennifer Lopez and "Someone
to Call My Lover" by Janet Jackson.
