Norms:

- Review one of the verses related to the need to teach.

Topics:
- Scriptural look at the need to teach:
- Situational Leadership applied to personal work. This is an introspective
lesson intended to prepare the audience for the next lesson on goal setting.
o Teach the concept of Developmental Levels using the diagram and
focus on the two attributes of willingness and capability.
o Teach Leadership Levels from God’s perspective of us. Again this is
focusing on the two attributes of willingness and capability.
o The culmination of this lesson is on the intent of striving grow in both
capability and in willingness to teach others the truth.
- SMART Goals:
o Specific – not too broad, needs to be focused
o Measurable – needs to be such that it is clear to anyone if the goal has
been met
o Achievable – Push yourself but set a level that is also realistic. It has to
be something more advanced than you are currently achieving.
o Relevant –
o Timely – Start soon with short-term objectives that advance you toward
your larger goal.
o ACTION STEPS:
 Pray about your work at teaching the gospel.
 Think about “Why did you never mention Him to me” each day.
 Who do you cross paths with?
 Who can you pursue?
 Think about what topics you need to be prepared to teach.
 Think about potential obstacles.
 Develop self-talk to support your change.
