1)Since Religare Securities is a private player in the insurance industry, it has not
yet reached break-even. Hence, it has high cost due to which its premiums are
high as compared to other market players. 2)It has to create credibility in the
public. 3)It has to compete with the wide range of products that its competitors
offer. 4)It has to focus towards rural segment also which has a great scope of
growth. 5)It has to decide on the strategies to be adopted which will help to
counter competition. 6)It has to increase its no. of branches and also enhance its
network of agents so that it can compete with other market players. 7) It has to
focus on providing effective training to its agents so that the customer base can
be increased and moreover customer satisfaction can be ensured.

Explanation of the Method:
I decided to do the project in two parts. The first part of the project is comprised
of the study of Mutual Funds as a whole and the second part deals with the
investors perception regarding their investment preferences about investment in
Mutual Funds. The first part of the project i.e. descriptive study is comprising an
overall study of Mutual funds as what it is ,why to invest and where to invest,risk
factor associated with it ie,an overview of whole Mutual fund industry. Souces of
Data Collection Both Primary and Secondary data are required Primary data is the
first hand information collected directly from the respondents . The tool used here
is questionnaire. Primary Data is collected through survey among existing clients
along with the other investors Secondary data is collected through internet ,
books I had prepared a questionnaire for collecting information about second part
of the project.
