I am a student studying Product Design at the University of Brighton. Having gone to an international school studying with peers from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds, I have gained a global perspective which informs my design ethos and have worked with many global brands addressing their marketing and manufacturing needs in various regions.

Education

University of Brighton : 2012-present BSc Product Design with Professional Experience

Modules include:

Product Research Devising cultural probes, diary studies and questionnaires, and presenting results as infographics. (report available on request)

Professional Practice Competitor analysis, branding and marketing.

Design Communication Product sketching. Photoshop rendering, layout design, graphic communication, CAD packages including Solidworks and Rhinoceros.

Recent work

ODM Group (2013-Present) Designer Brainstorming and creating designs for marketing and promotional needs of clients such as Moët & Chandon and Peroni. Showcasing brand identity within budget constraints.

University of Brighton (2011-Present) Student Ambassador Showcase the University to potential new students and their parents.

Venture Language Training (Summer 2012) English Teacher To create engaging and interesting plans and deliver lessons to students ages 4-12.

Apple Store Glasgow Braehead (2011) Specialist

Design Technology Basic electronics design and layout.

Teamwork:

As a hockey goalkeeper it is my job not only to save goals, but understand and learn the individual playing styles of each player to coordinate the defence.

Communication:

While teaching English as a second language, I have gained experience in creating engaging and relevant presentations, lessons, and activities.

Volunteering

STEM Sussex (Present) University of Brighton Engaging secondary school students from more deprived areas with activities and events to help them think about higher education in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

Active Student (Present) University of Brighton Volunteering and giving back to the community, such as spending a day in a retirement home playing games with residents.

Peer Mentor (2009-2010) West Island School Helping students in lower years with specific learning difficulties socially and academically.

Hobbies & Interests
