High Capacity Point-to-Multipoint Wireless System

Airmux-5000 is a carrier-class, cost-effective point-to-multipoint broadband wireless system
delivering up to 200 Mbps Ethernet service per sector. It includes Base Stations (BS) and Subscriber
Units (SU) for transmitting over an extensive range of frequency bands: 2.5 GHz, 3.3 to 3.8 GHz and
4.8 to 6 GHz.
The system is suitable for deployment in FCC, IC and ETSI regulated countries.
Ensuring the highest spectrum efficiency available in the market, Airmux-5000 delivers greater
throughput over smaller channel bandwidth.

Airmux-5000 is an excellent revenue generator for carriers and ISPs that are looking to deploy last
mile enterprise connectivity and deliver high-capacity broadband access to end users.

Nomadic Applications
Airmux-5000 nomadic solution delivers high capacity Ethernet link (up to 200 Mbps) to nomadic
users that move from one base station to another and get service while in stationary position.
Both fixed and nomadic users are supported from a common base station. Nomadic application is
supported by Airmux-5000 starting from release 3.3 GA.
Mobility Applications
Airmux-5000 mobility solution delivers high capacity radio link (up to 100 Mbps) at the SU speed of
up to 200 km/h for video and Internet connectivity.
Users that move from one base station to another get continuous broadband service while in
motion.
Figure 2 shows a Mobility application. Airmux-5000 offers broadband connectivity to mobile units
mounted on a moving train.

Software Compatibility
Software upgrade can be applied to any previous Airmux-5000 releases.
Software upgrade to release version 3.4 is required for the BS and all the SUs in the sector.
Radio Bands Compatibility

All Airmux-5000 radios support multiband operation over various frequencies.
The table below specifies the radio bands and regulations supported by each ordering option.
Legend:
