Strengthening India
Going Global
Jindal Steel and Power Limited (JSPL) is one of India's major steel producers with a significant presence in sectors like
Steel, Mining, Power Generation, Petroleum, Infrastructure, Cement and Info-solution.
From the widest flat product to a whole range of long products, JSPL today sports a product portfolio that caters to
varied needs in the steel market. The company also has the distinction of producing the world's longest 121 meter
rails and introducing parallel flange beams in India.
Recently JSPL has arised with revolutionary and innovative technique to eliminate the outdated conventional flooring
system with suspended concrete flooring system known as Jindal Speedfloor. The manufacturing facility for Jindal
Speedfloor is located 30kms away from the heart of Raigarh City, Chattisgarh at O.P. Jindal Knowledge Park,
Punjipatra.
With an annual turnover US $ 3.5 billion, JPSL has committed investments exceeding US $ 30 billion in the future
and has several business initiatives running simultaneously across India, South-East Asia, Africa, South America,
Australia and Georgia.

No propping is required.
The joists are lightweight, requiring less craneage than other concrete flooring systems.
Services can be passed through the holes pre-punched in the joist
The bottom of the joist can support a suspended fire rated ceiling directly fixed to the joist.
The lockbars and plywood sheets are reusable.

the slots punched in the
top section of the joist and
by engaging the notches
at both ends of the lock
bar, the exact spacing of
the joist is secure.

The concrete slab topping has a compressive strength of 32MPa after 28 days.
Speed floor system can meet fire rating requirement set out in building codes through various means such as fire resistant painting
of joists, fire rated ceiling.
