Apollo Glass:

Clearly, a great glass resource

Apollo Glass is something of

an institution in this area, having served the communitys
glass needs for more than two
decades, from the same location
at 400 Seventh Street Northeast
in Buffalo, as always, and now
on the Internet with a Website
and Facebook presence, as
well.
Equipped with knowledge
and experience, Apollo Glass
has earned its reputation for

Jeff Rubertus has been operating the shop since purchasing
the business in 2006 from Don
Kramer, who started Apollo
around 1998. A Delano resident
raising two daughters with his
wife, Sherri, Rubertus says he
originally started out in glass
with his father, who owned a
glass company in Olivia. Today,
he offers a variety of services,
from auto glass to commercial
and residential work. In recent
years hes also expanded operations to include construction
and installation of custom
shower doors. And, as always,

can repair or replace windshield, side door or back glass
on foreign and domestic cars,
trucks and vans. They offer
same-day service and a full warranty, and Apollo works with all

Drive-in or mobile service
and a loaner car are available,
and free pickup and delivery, if

mobile service in spring, summer and fall, and a loaner car is

repair process, Rubertus said he

shops climate-controlled environment, fix it and bring it back

The local chapter of the national organization Ducks Unlimited, Heart of the Lakes, will celebrate 10 years in the Maple Lake
area at its annual banquet at the Maple Lake Legion Club on
S ept . 15.
Since 1937, DU has conserved more than 13 million acres of
waterfowl habitat across North America. Most recently the local
chapter of DU has placed a great emphasis on area youth with its
Greenwing events. By joining DU, junior members participate in
the conservation, restoration and management of wetlands and
associated habitats for North America's waterfowl. These habitats
also benefit other wildlife and people.
