Senator Elizabeth Warren
United States Senate
317 Hart Senate Office Building
Washington, D.C. 20510-2105
Dear Senator Warren:
I could tell you have a highly analytical mind by your discussion of the Pacific Rim Trade Deal, and I
hope you will use it to consider a few more facts about the Iran Deal to see why I, like most Americans,
oppose it. The Administrations attempt to hide the side deal between the IAEA and Iran is a fraud
against the publics right to know, made worse by their promise to include inspection of Parchin in the
Framework released in April.
Here is the bad news If the Iran Deal passes, and you voted for it, you will need to defend why you
voted for it every time Iran breaks it. We know they will. Solemieni wants Russian S-300 missiles before
December 31. It might be a campaign issue later, as the deal is opposed by 56%, to 36% by voters.
By now, you have heard: 1. None of the centrifuges get destroyed, they go into storage. 2. There are no
IAEA inspections of Parchin and 3. The IAEA would rely on the Iranian government to monitor
themselves. But, opposition to the Iran Deal is not all hawks and scarecrows. Here are more good
reasons left undiscussed. I summarized them into bullet point for quick reading.
1. If you believe Iran and Israel would never nuke each other due to mutually assured
destruction, then being pro-Iran deal is being pro-war. Massive weapons purchases since the
deal increase the likelihood of conventional war and increase the severity in the Middle East, such as
these.

2. It is too hasty and reckless to proceed prior to the IAEAs report on tbe status of Irans
nuclear development which is due to be released December 15, 2015.

3. No one knows who will be in charge of Iran in 6 months from now. The Iranian

4. Obamas offer to give F35s to Israel is like corporate welfare to Lockheed Martin, and
most likely, the next President will be the one to keep it. The F35s are not scheduled to be
operational until December 31, 2015, but they have so many flaws, it will likely be later. Few
countries wants them because they are expensive and compare unfavorably to other aircraft.
http://fortune.com/2015/08/14/f-35-joint-strike-fighter/ Italy and Canada cut their orders. Israel cut
their order of the F35s in half. Give Israel the stealth fighter instead, and it is guaranteed that Iran
will abide by the nuclear deal.
5. Only a fool would believe Iran will comply, or that the IAEA is empowered. Iran has a long
history of blowing the IAEA off. It has a history of repeatedly not detecting nuclear sites
timely, instead of John Kerrys immediately.

impunity, and the IAEA lets them remove inspectors.

7. The IAEA rules allows Iran to remove inspectors. In 2010, Iran was allowed to remove
two nuclear inspectors. Iran has also said that no Americans would be allowed on the
inspection team. http://www.nydailynews.com/news/world/iran-bans-2-iaea-nuclear-inspectorsentering-iran-article-1.183521
8. It leads to nuclear proliferation in a region which is constantly at war. Im sure other
people have told you about Saudi and Pakistan, so I will not rehash it here. Here is something new
On August 12, Saudi ordered Iskander missiles from Russia, which can carry a nuclear payload equal
to 50 tons of TNT. http://www.ibtimes.com/saudi-russian-iskander-arms-deal-facing-isis-iran-threatsarab-kingdom-could-purchase-2051948
For these reasons, and my objections to side deal and self-inspection of Parchin, I ask that you oppose
the Iran deal.
Sincerely,

Lucia Perri, CPA, MBA
