AIMS OF UNITED NATIONS :

1. To maintain international peace and security : To secure peace with

the neighboring nations and to ensure a sense of livelihood among one
another for the future needs and security among the nations to insure
protection in case of threat or danger from invaders or any outside force
from the scourge of war. (An example will be India which is liable to be
threatened or attacked by Pakistan.)
2. To develop friendly relations among nations : To develop a
friendship among other nations on the basis of equality, such relations
gains the help and trust with these nations, thus providing them with help
in case of emergency or problems the nation might face.
3. To cooperate in solving international economic, social, cultural
and humanitarian problems and in promoting respect for human
rights and fundamental freedoms : Encourage a worldwide
cooperation among all nations to work together as a whole in dealing with
economic problems such as financial or economic crisis faced by
developing countries/nations, development of the countries in advanced
technology etc, causes loss of income in a nation and social problems
faced in poverty, income inequality (salary) of the people, lack of good
education and crimes which affect the social status of a country and
Cultural problems in preserving the culture of the people, such as loss of
knowledge of ones tradition and language, even his knowledge related
with nature decreases due to loss of knowledge of ones culture and also
the history of ones past and finally the humanitarian problems in which
one seeks to promote the welfare of individuals together must be taken
care of, the nations of the world would act together as one to cooperate
and solve these problems and deal with them. Promotion of human rights
and fundamental freedom for the people or the population of the world
and to ensure the citizens rights and freedom in what he does, be it
getting a job or owning a land, property and right against discrimination
etc. To work together to help people live better lives, to
eliminate poverty,disease and illiteracy in the world, to stop
environmental destructionand to encourage respect for each other's
rights and freedoms

4. To be a centre for harmonizing the actions of nations in attaining

these common ends :
Act as a centre for balancing the actions of nations in attaining all these points
that weve discussed. It will maintain international peace, security, human
rights, fundamental freedoms, friendly relations among one another and solve
all problems together.
