Spirit from Ruman

For some people, Rumania looks like a never touched part of the world.
This country seems drowned out by the image of communist for 2 decades.
But who knows, this country, which is related with 'Dracula - A blood sucker',
also have islamic side. Even the islamic side of Rumania is still related with
Dracula.

Rossevania is one of well known place in Rumania. In this place, Dracula was
being known by world.
In the 14th century, Dracula once had relation with islamic kingdom.
He was a Wallachia Prince in the 15th century, Vlad Tepes, that lived in 14311476. Vlad Tepes, or 'Dracula', became famous because his perseverance to
fight Utsmania when they occupied Rumania.
His hatred in Islam became greater when his step brother turned into Islam.
Dracula was miserly. He had her own way to torture her enemy, that called
impaling.
Dracula beame an antagonist inspiation because of an Irlandian Novelist,
Bram Stoker. Dracula's story was left in a Castle in Transylvania.
Transylvania is a historical place and also become a tour destination place.
Brand Castle is one of the most crowded place.
This Castle has existed since the 13th century.
There's no blood scattered here, even I found a beauty and some Turkey
style on ornament in this Castle.
I continue my journey to find inheritance of Utsmani Empire in Rumania.
Growth of moslem people in Rumania is increasing. Now, there are 100.000
moslem of 18 million people in Rumania. Social network has helped
dissemination of Islam.

He is Daniel Ciniparu, a Rumanian Moslem who live in a small town in Roman.

Daniel has tried to share Islam by online media. How hard was his effort and
struggle?

I headed for Romanvcity, about 5 hours from ...

before arrive there, I passed 2 small city. There are some government land
which is used as agriculture.
Many of Rumanian Society work as a farmer, they depend on season.
After driving about 5 hours, I arrive in one of village in Roman and I must go
by walk because this car can't pass the way.
Daniel family is very friendly, making this very cold evening turn into warm.
It is a Dzuhur time, Daniel invite me to have a jamaah prayer, pray together.
They must pray outside, although after rain and the yard become muddy,
because their house is not enough to accomodate too many people.
Everything here is limited. To have wudhu, they must use watertube and
making wudhu by turns.
This evening temperature reach 6 Celcius.
For me who live in a tropical country, being outside like this may can make
me freeze.
There are 14 moslems in Roman. They don't have a Mosque. The nearest
Mosque is placed about 90 km from here.
Daniel and his friend, Samir, go to Mosque only for Jumuah prayer.
In this small community, having prayer under the sky is a luxury.
Daniel has dream to build a small Mosque in front of his house.
Daniel and her two son depend on the result of their livestock.
There are about 30 rabbits that were treated well.
Daniel has also cows and goats.

We must thank God because in Indonesia, moslem can find so much halaal
food easily, whereas here, foods depend on weather and who produce that.
Daniel believe that Allah always accompany as long as he doesn't againts
God's rule.
Daniel has known islam since 2006.
When he was confuse, he learned some holy books, until he found Al Qur'an.
Though he only can read Rumanian translation, for him, Al Qur'an is a
guidance for his life.
This man from Rumanian is very often uploading video of his appreciation
about Islam, and share islamic message with her own way.
Using handycam and by help from his son, he make his 'dakwah video'.
Samir, his bestfriend from Pakistan found Daniel from his video.
His strong conviction has been supported by his wife, who also became
Mualaf.
She wear a veil directly after saying Syahadat.
His two son also follow their parents's religion.
Now, this warm family is very happy.
Hopefully, no matter how small the effort of Rumanian Moslem, will be
blessed by Allah, The One Who Answer Du'a.
